Amanda Collins Boone PCP Management, Pub Crawl Promotions BEWARE OF AMANDA COLLINS OR PCP/PUB CRAWL PROMOTIONS Houston, Texas

This report was obviously written by MICHAEL KENNEDY of the band Black Kennedy and was coerced by Shannon Selph of Connect Productions in Houston, to try and slander Mrs.. Boone and harm her good name and reputation on the music scene in Houston as they are jealous and they are out to get her for what they deem as someone new stepping into their territory... and booking shows in Houston as their competitor.. Michael was trying fences and get a tour outta PCP as well as stay booked by Connect and when we refused to bend over and kiss his ass as well as his new prod co. this is when the libelous and slanderous staements and attacks began on Amanda Boone. They are baseless and unfounded and designed to interfere with PCPManagements lawful right to do business and earn money and it is a shame that websites like this are allowed to post pictures and slanderous reports founded on lies and illegal staements and business practices.. Michael you will get exactly what is due you in this business..and that is nothing! No one owes you nothing and no one will offer you nothing.. The very fact that you and Shannon submitted this false consumer complaint is evidence in itself of what kind of people you are and that you work with.. Amanda has done nothing to deserve this and she is a very upstanding, loyal and honest person in all her dealings and she cares about her performers and her employees as well as her colleagues and is always careful not to step on others toes in the business..  Strange how other promotion companies keep following on our coat-tails, creeping our fb pages and then showing up at the venues we are booking out of the blue trying to push their crappy bands in without doing any ground work or creating their own opprtunities..I guess it's easier to just sit back on a cell phone all day and steal other peoples ideas and ventures..and then ride in acting all innocent especially after trying to contact every new bands we have listened to or are talking to about future projects...The network of snakes is very much still intact and at work in the Houston music community. First ploy is to bad-mouth us, second, look at everyone on our social networking pages, we are dealing with and contact them, and offer them shows,  and now visiting all our venues and trying to ask for show dates and booking shows with the very bands they have talked trash to about us.... sad sad people. It doesnt really bother me as we have our own loyal set of dedicated and hard working bands that ignore all these shenannigans from other agencies.. But to see this transparency and obvious pathetic behavior amongst the professional music community is kinda disheartening. One would think working together in the same field, and for the betterment of the music scene and keeping avenues open for joint ventures would be the smarter and wiser choice. But some people are just two-faced, lowlifes and backstabbers..and that is not gonna change sadly. I have nothing to lose when a band is coerced away by another agency. They lose career opportunities when this happens and will never be offered some opportunities again..so who does that effect? It effects the performers and artists..not the booking agencies.. If you have to spy on others to make a living, you are not doing your job as a booking agency or a promoter, you are exploiting other peoples hard work and depriving your own self of being recognized as a viable player on the music scene. I would suggest re-thinking your strategy,and learning what you apparently didnt learn from your parents as a child growing up. Working with others and be respectable has it's rewards. Practicing deceit is bad business and bad for THE business in general. This is why some bands won't even play Houston. And this is why some locals fail to achieve their heartfelt dreams in the industry. BAD MANAGEMENT and bad advice coming from the WRONG people. I wish nothing but the best for all booking and management agencies and certainly wish every opportunity be afforded all hard-working musicians.. This is the avenue I have chosen and I feel is only right. This is about the bands , and the music. Not the Promoters egos. Be wise as to what you do and remember that heresay is just that..heresay. Unless you are dealing with someone who cares about your success, you are most likely dealing..with a loser. The persons responsible for this complaint are devious and pathetic and are the real losers and troublemakers on the Houston music scene. Thanks..and Have a nice day.

The reason we have a good impression of Amanda is because we work with her and around her on a daily basis. I believe I know who all of this is coming from and I even know why.  It's not a matter to be taken up in public to simply sully someone's name. If you have the capacity to do something do it all out. You simply want to slander her and make her out to be a bad person. Ask anyone who she is involved with and KNOW that she is giving her all to all of them. She is not taking and taking and taking like most "promoters" do. She gets a very small percentage of what is earned. The majority go to the artist, where it belongs.  She has done all of this on her own and made some great bands come into the limelight as they deserve.  She has taken nothing from anyone. She has worked her butt of for them and only them. She continues to try and work with every other promotions company in the area short of one. That "promotions" company just wants to take everything from the artists and expect them to put up with it. Well let me inform you in a way that you may understand.  The artist's want to earn something. They do this because they love it and it is the purest form of expression for them. They also have mouths to feed bills to pay and families to raise. They do it because it allows them to express their inner most demons, feelings, and accomplishments. If were up to people like the "author" and her ilk then they would do it for free to line the pockets of so called "promoters".  

By the way has anyone else besides me noticed that the person who place the last rebuttal above mine is the same as the original author???  Sounds like someone has a heavy grudge to carry and wants everyone else to dislike Ms. Boone as much as they do.  Me for one will continue to side with Ms. Boone.  She is truthful and honest when dealing with artist, and venues, and I seriously doubt that will ever change.  It makes you wonder what kind of person would stoop to the level of trying to slander someone on a site like this, if they had a legitimate complaint.  My guess is they have not openly discussed it with her in a face to face meeting.  That is their bad, not Ms. Boone's.  Also if i were attached to whomever is starting this line of bologna, I think I would be ready to RUN the other direction. If they are this low online, what good could they do for someone in person. It makes you and ugly person in action, no one likes ugly acting people.

Yeah and i've met you as well. You're full of it and you're attacking amanda because you're mad you can't make your way the old fashion way ripping off bands. And Garold from Power Rage, the one who's been shmoozing you, is also full of it. You should have heard all the crap he talked about you and now he wants to be buddy buddy. So not only are you barking up the wrong tree, you're getting two timed by a two faced liar as well. I guess what goes around comes around. Congratulations!

I am glad that y'all have a good image of Amanda.  I can say that I personally was approached by her and someone who said they worked for her.  They came to a gig I was playing and came up to me and asked if I worked with anyone.  When I told them that I did, she told me that she could do much better than my mgr.  They said they would book me and my band on a tour and my mgr couldn't do that or get me anywhere.  They asked me not to tell my mgr that they talked to me because they didn't want the hassle.

It all seemed shady to me.  If they had no problem going behind my mgrs back, did I want to work with them?  I asked around and called the people they said they worked with and nobody had anything good to say about her or her company.

I let it all go, but I do feel its important to talk about my situation.

This report is obviously bogus. I know Amanda Collins Boone professionally and personally and not only is she an excellent owner and operator of her legitimate business, she is impeccably walking in the ways of the truth. I know for a FACT that Amanda does NOT steal bands. In fact she has an issue with anyone who does. I know the people who perpetrated this attack and I have no problem stating that they are both liars and thieves that bear false witness. With my testimony I relinquish this report and validate Amanda and there will be many more after me that follow suit.

To whomever wrote the scathing letter about Ms. Boone and PCP management;

   I am a very close insider and lifelong friend of Ms. Boone and know that the things mentioned in the article are slanderous and misleading to say the least.  Ms. Boone Has not made a dime from PCP Management and is turning the the music industry in Houston on its ear. This has made several other promotion companies very upset. This is the reason for the scathing "report".  It is full of fallacy and conjecture and absolutely no factual information.  Ms. Boone Is putting the artists' first and foremost and helping them to the top of their game. She has not approached any artist that was associated with a known management company and its one of the first questions she asks. She has never mislead anyone and only promotes the artists and venues she is associated with.  Other "promoters" tend to dislike her practices because she makes their practices seem self centered and only helping out those promoters.
