Just do a ripoffreport search on every name, barn, and business name above, and you will see just that she just recently (as in the last month) was evicted from Brummel Horse Farm for non-payment and she also left with more than one person's pre-paid lesson money. She has also, once again, changed her business name (thought she said that she would not do that again).
For every report, she has her family and friends come on and post fake positive replies. Jonas turned out to be a combination of her brother and of her. Steer clear of this unpredicatable ripoff artist.

Not the person I know
AUTHOR: Kelly D. - (United States of America)

Amanda has been my nearest and dearest friend for 16 years. There have been times in my life when the only person to turn to has been her and every time she has been there for me. She sat with me in the emergency room in the middle of the night when I didnt know what was wrong with my son. She took a litter of 3 week-old kittens that had been abandoned at my house and bottle fed them to ensure their survival. Amanda has been my maid of honor not once but twice (my mistake not hers and she did try to warn me the first time). She took me to and from work and watched my son when life was at its worst for me. We have laughed together, cried together and questioned the world together. Amanda is one of those friends that never judges you, always listens, would do anything for you and always has your best interest at heart.
The things being written here are not the person I know. I have witnessed some of her transactions and have always been impressed with the absolute honesty with which she conducts business. I have seen her turn away potential buyers because she didnt believe there was a horse in her barn that fit the buyer. She is more interested in the well-being of the horses than she is about making money. Amanda is a horse lover through and through. If you had a problem with her or one of her horses I would have to guess you didnt contact her and honestly discuss the issue(s). If you had she would have done anything in her power to ensure both you and your horse were happy.
Thanks Amanda (Mandy) for all of the years behind us, all of the lessons you have taught me and all of the years ahead of us that I have to look forward to.

Amanda for my horse sale.
AUTHOR: Chelsey - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, May 01, 2011
Amanda allowed me to her farm every afternoon for a trial session. In these sessions she allowed me to ride the horse I was interested in. During the sale Amanda kept nothing a secret. It is obvious she has a passion for it and enjoys what she does.
At the time of my purchase, a very well known and recommended equine veternarian in the local area was also looking to purchase a horse from Amanda. I know the vet and they did purchase the horse and had no issues in the future.
When I bought my horse I knew he was young and "green". He had a minor injury on his leg from typical young horse behavior. Amanda had made it very clear that if he needed penicillin to contact her and she would pay for it. Because the injury was so minor it was not needed, but Amanda stayed in contact to check on the health of my horse.
I purchased my horse from Amanda and have him to this day. He is an absolute joy and I would never second guess Amanda's intentions, etc. I would not think twice about buying a horse from Amanda and have referred her to many people in the "horse world".

If for any reason, within 10 days, you are not happy with your purchase you can return the horse to us for a refund of the purchase price minus a $500 re-listing fee. It is that simple. Our goal is to have happy horses and riders!
If you would like to opt out of the guarantee you can reduce the asking price of any of our horses by $500.
She has some very nice pictures of the horses currently available including one named CC. I'm wonderingis that Amanda in the photograph marked First Day Home?
Jonas has proposed that they submit to polygraph and drug testing. What kind of questions would he ask these women? After reading your responses on the thread where he trashes Dr. Devi, I can only imagine what they'd be like. Then again, I don't blame either of these ladies for not wanting to submit to testing initiated by such a person.

You people are obviously not capable of solving you problems like adults, or even as civillized citizens of the greatest country on the face of the Earth. Why do you want to hurt eachother? The Lord Our Father Jesus Christ died on the cross for Our sins. In celebration of his birth I beg and plead that you people that you do the honorable thing and drop this nonsense. It hurts me to see You people actively trying to ruin eachothers lives. To devi, would you be happy to see amanda in a bad car accident, or to be broke and penniless living on the street? Amanda, would you be happy to see D lose her farm, or become ill? I hope not. Enjoy your time here on Earth and be glad that you live in a country that you can choose how to live your lives'. Is this how you have decided to live? As vindictive back-stabbers who cannot find the good in the time you spent together. Did you guys learn anything from eachother? I suggest amanda and d meet somewhere public and discuss their problems, and hug eachother. If you hate someone too much to hug them, seek help. there are good people out there. It is never to late to change D. From what I understand you have been actively trying to ruin Amanda's business, why? Did she hurt you that much? Amanda, you have accused D of breeding a 28 year old mare. D, can you provide dental or vet records proving otherwise? If so do it. And Devi if you claim Amanda stole from you, call the police, it is the Law's job to handle that situation, not your's. Amanda could sue you for slander/libel if you cannot prove it. Amanda has invited you to see if your property is at her farm. Devi it does not get any more reasonable than that. That is a show of innocense. Of course she could of thrown out anything she could stole, but then why take it in the first place? To hurt you? If she stole to hurt you she would have written bad things about you first to hurt you, and Devi I think you would admit you started the bad-mothing. Am I wrong? prove me wrong please!!! prove me wrong that you two are not backstabbing liars!!!! To bryan why are you involved? you admit to never meeting Amanda and you have known devi for less than a year. If it is your intention to impress devi, let your intention's be known. She is a married woman and only a snake would usurp the sacred vows of man and wife, and the peace and dignity of the state where they wed. THIS HAS GONE FAR ENOUGH!! You people are beginning to look like losers. The reason I am involved is because I know Dr. devi Rathod-hardesty and I posted negative comments about her in response to her smear campaign against Mrs. Matricciani. I don't know Mrs. Matricciani, but I do know the nature of Dr. Rathod and I thought it was unfair of her to trash Mrs. Matricciani and try to ruin her good name. this can be the end of this or just the beginning. I would rather see it end but if it doesn't I will enjoy getting to the bottom of this. I have the resources to bring the truth into the light. I am so upset because I just responded to rebuttals to my own report concerning this matter and I felt relieved that I said my peace, but then I read what Devi and Bryan wrote in response to amanda's rebuttal. Devi, it is never too late. Remember I said that.
Bryan from Highlands MD, I am requesting that you prove you are not of questionable character. it would be very easy for me to find out for myself. You scare me a little Bryan, you need to prove that your investigations of Amanda did not go as far as ascertaining her home address. I will be watching for your rebuttal. non-action will result in an investigation of you. We all know of middle-aged men who go to far on the computer. I will not sleep well until I feel he is not of that description. He at least deserves the chance to defend himself. So Bryan, download the contents of your PC to a zip drive or provide your PC's IP address and post on ripoffreport if you had done so. I will then contact you on your home phone in order to recieve info in accordance with state and local laws. I will be watching. Lets us all agree that someone is lying or mislead. I am not lying when I say I am now personally involved.

here is how one can tell the truth from lies

I, too, have all original emails to and from Amanda, so if she sends them to you, I would like to send you the ones I have to see if they match. Anyone can edit a forwarded email. I am not afraid of her sending original emails out at all. I will send them as well, for there is nothing in my emails that would indicate that I am mean, intimidating, or in any way off-kilter in personality.
Here is another good example of how she twists things: We bought a smaller quarter horse from her that she said came from out west. He had permanent scarring on his legs and scratches on either side of his neck. I made a comment on an email wondering if they could have come from a bobcat. It was just a comment, and I never demanded that she do something about it, and a certainly never even came close to implying that it happened here at our stable, especially because he came here with those scars, and everyone knows it. She is very clever at twisting the truth, but if you look closely, you will see the discrepancies. As an aside, I do happen to know that we have bobcats here in Pennsylvania, because they are hunted: http://www.wildlifeprotection.net/bobcat/animals.html
She did give me a horse, but that wasn't to placate me (we had not started arguing yet, because I had not yet asked her for the money that she owed me, nor had I yet demanded that she fix my horse trailer that she trashedthat's when all the trouble started). She gave me the horse because she had sold it as a 12 year old when it was actually 20, and the people returned him. She tried to then sell him as an 18 year old (after two dentist confirmed that he was 20), and could not sell him. She was going to take him to the auction, and asked me to take him instead. She said she wanted him to have a good home, and she knew that I liked him, and she wanted me to get rid of another horse that I had that she didn't like. We have sworn statements from people who witnessed the whole deal.
The horse she gave me was NOT the horse that had the blistering on the inside of his lipsit was the one she sold us from out west. And I have the vet records to prove that I did, in fact, have my vet out to check him. She, of course, never told us about the blisterswe found them after we purchased him from her. He was playing with the bit a lot, so we had a look inside to see if something could be bothering him. I did not tell people that he had Hoof and Mouth, which does not effect horses. What I told people in the barn was that I was not happy that Amanda did not check those blisters on him before bringing him to the farm, and that there were recent outbreaks of Vesicular Stomatitis out west (from where this horse supposedly came). I was not at all happy with the risks she was taking with all of our horses.
Amanda can put you in touch with the young girl who held the first lease on our barn, a girl with no previous experience and had never owned a horse before, a girl that was in business with Amanda buying auction horses, a girl who also did not isolate the horses properly (we lost three boarded horses because their owner became extremely angry with both her and Amanda for that reason), a girl that Amanda had also complained about (again, boarders here will tell you that they heard those complaints from her). Of course, somebody that we kicked out of here is not going to be happy with us. Amanda will tell you, as she has others, that both of them gave US notice that they were leaving, but not true. The first girl signed and dated the letter that we gave her, asking her to leave, and our lawyer has all the records for when we had to evict Amanda, and all the boarders were here for that, too.
The new manager knows all about Amanda, and has known me for some time. This time, I leased the barn to somebody I knew, and somebody with years of experience and official credentials. The new manager also knows several people that had previous dealings with Amanda. The new manager is familiar with both of our reputations, and would be happy to talk with anyone truthfully about what she knows.
Now, look at the second rebuttal, where Amanda poses as someone else (Jonas of Hanover, PA), yet she gives her email address and cell phone number. She offers a 30 day written guarantee, but she doesn't always return the money when you return the horse. I can put you in touch with a girl that Amanda cancelled the refund check on the day she wrote it. The horse was returned in poor condition because it was sent out in that same poor condition, and the horse did not pass the vet check. The vet advised the girl to return the horse. We have several people here at the barn that knew the poor condition of the horse when it left here, and the girl had the horse for less than 2 weeks. The girl has repeatedly asked for the money back, and has had to initiate a lawsuit to try to recover it.
Amanda has repeatedly played off of the first experience the young barn manager, although she had no complaints until we asked her for the money she owed us and the repair of our trailer, which she was given free use and abused the privilege. We got along just fine until that point.
There are others that have had dealing with Amanda that will be filing rip off reports shortly on this web site. I am not the only person that has been burned by her.
