The ripoff couldn't have come at a more difficult time in the my life.Amazing Products International aka The Greatest Vitamin the World with Don Lapre's name attached to it is an outright SCAM.

I never even had a chance to activate my website, because all the 800 numbers connected to this fly-by-night outfit are disassociated with Amazing Products International aka The Greatest Vitamin in the World.

I'm troubled that my credit card number is floating out there in cyberspace with someone connected with the FORMER Amazing Products International -- and if these scammers are brazen enough to continue charging for the 200 Vitamins added to my Make-Believe website -- Lapre's head will roll and this time HIS pockets will be targeted.

I am open to suggestions as to how I can recover my sign-up fee and assure that Lapre and Idiots, Inc. will not charge my credit card in future months for something they don't even have or own!

I exchanged (credit) money for several pieces of paper (a letter) offering a website and business that is non-existent. I need this money back.

Another Don Lapre VICTIM

AUTHOR: Scammed Again - (U.S.A.)

My wife and I saw an infomercial on T.V. one evening about the "Greatest Vitamin in The World." The thing that "hooked" us was the low start up cost and the immediate website in our name to advertise and sell from. We knew it sounded almost too good to be true but we have been trying for many months to find a legitimate online business and way to earn extra income. So we took the plunge.

We called a free number to listen to a pre-recorded message about what the program was and how it all worked. We are now sure it was Don's voice on the message and it was so hyped and pumped our blood pressure rose just listening to him! My wife called another given number the following day and signed up for the "VIP Website" - paying $75.00. We paid additional money for another 200 products to be listed on our site, the "perfect pill" (which supposedly added 4 more products to our site), 10 vouchers to give to family or friends to join.

Our credit card information was given over to activate the monthly automatic withdrawal of $35.00 a month to maintain the site and keep the products showing. We also purchased a book of health tips (Curing Illness - backed by over 500 scientific studies) that was supposed to boost our website credibility and allow the same book to be listed on our site for purchase. Everything that sold on our site was supposed to generate nice profits and income for us.

We did get an actual site and did begin advertising it on various free advertising sites. We also had business cards made up to promote the site. We were able to go into the site and check how many visits were being made and how many people were making purchases. We were very close to getting our first 20 customers who had made purchases and were supposed to receive $1,000.00 for this.
Last week (last week in Sept. '07) we tried to log onto our site to check our stats, and found out the site no longer existed.

My wife immediately pulled out our paperwork from Amazing Products International (letterhead from Amazing Products International in Phoenix, AZ signed by Don Lapre) and called customer service. We had several phone numbers originally and all of them had been disconnected. We then pulled out our bank statement and found the name of the company, address, and phone number of the people doing the monthly automatic withdrawals from our account.

My wife called the Amazing Products International division in California and got a woman in supposed "customer service." My wife asked about the website not being accessible and the woman said she knew nothing about it. The woman became irate and said they were not affiliated with Amazing Products but were really called "Amazing Profits." My wife asked why then was money being taken out of our account and she said it wasn't (we have 4 months' worth of bank statements proving and showing otherwise). My wife told the woman that we would not argue, and that we would be reporting them to Better Business Bureau.

My wife then called BBB in Phoenix and they were very familiar with this whole scam and Don Lapre. They gave her the phone numbers for the Attorney General in Arizona and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service - which she called both.

She spent all day today (10/3/07) on the phone and learned that Don Lapre is being investigated by the FBI and the U.S. Postal Inspection. He has attorneys that are fully backing and protecting him at present with all the stolen money he collected. His warehouse, offices, and all websites have been closed and terminated. Only God knows how much money this twit walked away with from the hard working class of America.

We hope that he gets what he deserves.
Lastly, we are not completely out the money. My wife then called our local bank and explained the whole situation. They decided to credit our account back the 4 monthly withdrawn amounts, the sign up fee we paid, and changed our credit card number and status immediately so Don Lapre cannot take any more of our money! We advise all who have been ripped off to contact your bank and have your credit card changed. Don't lose another cent to crooked Don.
