I have had 2 issues with Amazon.com both as a seller, so I'll start with my earliest experience. I listed on their website ipod for sale, and a buyer purchased the item. Now because the buyer didn't read the listing, he didn't realize the item needed to be repaired (it was stated several time in listing). Of course buyer files claim with amazon.com about the matter. Now here's where it gets interesting, amazon never sent me any notification that the buyer had a claim against me, so I never knew until the time ran out for me to rebut that I had a claim against me. Needless to say the claim went to the buyer and the funds were taken out of my account and given to him. Of course I argued, but if you've ever had to deal with amazon's customer service, you can understand why I just said screw it, took the loss and waited for the buyer to send the item back.....of course he didn't. And of course amazon could care less that they basically gave him my item for free and refused to do anything to make him give me the item back, and to this day the buyer still hasn't returned my item.

The second issue I had was a result of the first issue. Because of this my account went under review and the funds that I earned were "held" until they could verify my account. I had sold about 6 items within the last 30 days, and they said if i got the buyers to leave feedback or give them shipping information about the item it would expedite the process. Well I obliged them with both the tracking numbers and feedback from satisfied, and not only did this not speed up the process, but after giving them this information about 10 times (they kept losing it and asking for it again, of course it usually took a week for a response in between them telling me to re email the same information. then i get an email saying my seller account is closed and they are holding my funds for 90 days, even though every item i have ever sold has positive feedback and a tracking # confirming delivery.
