Commission only is not a bad thing

In general, commission only pays much better than salary in many cases I've worked. I can make a $40k salary or make $75k+ commission only for the same effort and have flex-time with tax breaks. I choose the latter easily.
It seems many people are scared to death of 1099 status for reasons only they know. I think if you can't sell, you shouldn't be calling yourself a sales pro anyway. If you can sell and go 1099, you will do well IMO.
