The dealership had to switch parts off of the old engine and place it on the Second Replacement Engine as the engine WAS NOT MADE FOR A HYBRID! They say they will not pay for the switching of parts from the old engine onto the #2 Replacement Engine to make it a Hybrid Engine. The Dealership states it was not running properly as the engine was not a hybrid.
So inorder for them to find out what was wrong they had to test this engine and find out what the problem was. The discourteous representative from American Auto Shield stated the engine should work for my vehicle. He refused to acknowledge whether or not it was a wrong part. The engine that needed to be replaced was a Hybrid Engine. I can't afford this vehicle as this time. The representative stated I will not pay anything. However according to the dealership I am responsible. I contacted American Auto Shield management in hopes for this to be resolved. This has caused alot of heartbreak, aggravation because they don't want to pay.
I do not recommend American Auto Shield. --Outraged on Long Island, NY
