American Bankers Insurance if Florida ASSURANT SPECIALTY RENTERS INSURANCE Tactical insurance delays, threats, no service Miami, Florida

On August 12, 2011, I along with my 2 minor children and best friend were victims of an arson/hate crime. I reported it to my renters insurance and was sent $1500.00 in living expense money. I was told by the agent to save all my receipts and if I go over call her she would send more expense money until my claim is paid. We met with the adjuster and he declared this a total loss and we gave him information on our belongings etc. Within a 2 week period we were out of funds from paying hotel fees food clothing items. I called our agent to get more of living expense (red cross paid for 3 nights only). I was told everything was on hold and no more money was to be given out.

After giving this company EVERY document they wanted the turned it over to their investigators to get it resolved. We were asked to send the very same documents again and was told the check was waiting to go. 3 days after that I was told the claim was on hold and no expense money would be given. Phone calls and emails were not returned and I dipped further into savings and borrowed money.

Another week went by no calls no emails etc. I was contacted by the investigator to send the same documents over again and he lied to me saying an item claimed on my inventory was part of a settlement in my divorce. This was a flat out lie. He then brought up my bankruptcy from 7 years ago!!! Now just today his words were more than likely my claim is going to be denied and if I file a suit he could push the cops to arrest me for a crime of arson. This is a atrocity to say the least. I committed no crime. Because I don't have. The best finances they accused me of a crime yet no evidence or anything suggests it. How is it they can make these threats so I drop the claim and they laugh all the way to the bank. Now thanks to their BS my children and I have no money and nobody left to borrow from. Nobody seems to care.
