American Bio-Dental American Bio-Dental have caused me to now be paralyzed in my face, due to dentalwork done in Tijuana, Mexico

Who are you?  No name, no contact information - no indication that you're not a shill for the ADA. You don't say who  you talked to or what doctor treated you down there-- no proof you've ever been there.   I know these people in TJ, and they are about service and delivering the legacy of Hal Huggins, the greatest dentist who ever lived.  Insufficient detail in your whining complaint-- sounds like an ill wrought  drop in -- controlled opposition from ADA---

I recently got back to Colorado from a 13 day trip to SoCal and a one day trip to Tijuana for a return checkup to the American BioDental Center.  Last night it occurred to me that I wanted to write a positive Yelp! review about the clinic and all that they are accomplishing to assist people from all of the world in the dental field and now the medical field.  

I just came across this website from a google search to see if there are already existing Yelp! reviews and was shocked to find this website (I was unaware that Ripoff Report existed!) and the comments of the person who said that the office personnel pretended to not speak English, et al.

I have known my dentist and his assistant (Dr. Munoz and Carmen) and the manager of the Center and his assistant (Alessandro and Neyda) for more than 10 years.  They have been such a blessing in my life.  

Note: I was most definitely taken advantage of by a single practice Mexican dentist who lives in California and has all his assets under his wife's name becuase I'm sure people more savvy than I have tried to sue him and who was supposedl Huggins trained dentist not too far from their offices in Tijuana Mexico - I don't remember his name and don't care to... that was a terrible experience for me in January of 2004 and I wish I had had a forum like this to warn people away from him.)

Alessandro and his entire dental clinic who at the time included a wonderful US born oral surgeon named Dr. Odom (he has subsequently retired) stepped in and not only removed all the fillings (that the other dentist overcharged me for when he removed all the amalgm in my mouth without care to metal toxicity in my body from his improper removal) but also, under such disheartening circumstances (the fact that I had wasted $2000 a very short time before) discounted their already extremely reasonable fees to help me offset the fact that I had to return to an honest and gifted dentist to have the work repeated.

I returned several times over the years for other dental issues at regular intervals to have my teeth examined and cleaned and am always treated like a member of their family, have been transported back and forth across the border without charge each and every time and everyone makes sure that there is no language barrier (although I enjoy practicing my Spanish skills whenever I am in a Spanish speaking country!) 

I flew to SoCal in September to work for a vendor who was working a festival in Del Mar, CA called Kaaboo.  Because it was so close to TJ, I made an appointment at the ABDC to check on a chipped molar and because I hadn't seen all my ABDC adopted family in several years.  They were all there, they are still working long hours to serve people from all over the world at the most economical rates imaginable and they still treat me as though I am a treasured friend as well as a precious patient.

I have yet to see about writing a Yelp! review today - but could not let this permanent comment of six years ago go without responding about the extremely positive experiences I have had each and every time I have had the opportunity to go to the ABDC.  They have spent time and effort to renovate the clinic to include medical services as well as dental services and now have a dental lab onsite which must speed up the already lightening fast process they had in place to aid US and other country patients in decreasing the time and money spent with respect to hotel nights there or nearby in the San Diego area.  

It is my experience that money is without doubt a secondary priority:  they care about the patients first and foremost.  Our good health and recovery.  Of course they deserve to earn money (which they do with excellent service and extended hour days) in order to stay open and serve the patients to whom they are all so dedicated.  However, it is not the be all end all it is in America where so many businesses of all kinds make it their top and sometimes only priority.

I highly recommend them and wish everyone could avail themselves of their incredible service and skills.

 I'm the creator of iCureCancer.com the movie and website.  I met Alessandro Porcellas in 2003 when I was shooting iCureCancer part 1 at the Cancer Control Seminars in Los Angeles.  I had to get someone in my next film to explain to the audience that cancer and amalgam filings go hand and hand and even more so does root canals!  Alessandro was kind enough to do this for me.  And we have been friends ever since 

The reason I liked him and stayed in touch was cause of his soul.  It is similar to mine.  He doesn't lie, steal or cheat.  And he gives so much s**t away for free it's disgusting.  We were chilling in his clinic today and he looked over at me smiling he said we made 350 today.  i said 350,000?  He said no...  $350 us dollars.  Gross.  Not net.  lol.  A woman I had just interviewed and you can see on youtube was going to lose all her teeth.  I mean it was well over 20 grand worth of work to be done.  I mean she needed plasma in her gum and bone gaps /diesease and everything.  But she was broke cause her and husband were really having a hard time of it since him losing job at LA times.  So he said what can you pay?  She gave a down payment of $500 and has been making $25 a month payments ever since.  Although today she gave $50 so hey.  Things are looking up for them I guess.  ;)  That doesn't even cover the ride from the border to the office and back lol.

At any rate that's the kind of guy Alessandro is that owns American Bio-Dental and American Holsitic Care in TJ.  I have done my research and know who the perp is of this fradulant claim and will be speaking face to face with him soon. It's high time we fix this lie.  If he is not a man of God and refuses to admit to lying then just take it from me folks.  I'm Ian Jacklin.  Former pro-kick boxing champ, actor and now film maker.  I've got thiousands of fans following me for years and they all know I am altruistic.  I don't charge people to show them how to cure their cancers.  If I have extra money that month I buy medicine for those hurting.  This is all verifialbe in my facebook group icurecancer.  My word is my bond and I"m telling you the guy that had this written is another doctor in TJ trying to deface Amercian Bio-Dental and I will not stand for it.  Drop this false statement or expect a visit real soon doc.  YOu know who you are.  I will get 8000 of my fans to show up on your door step with pots and pans.

   I'm sorry some people have had bad experiences with American Biodental. My experience was quite the opposite. My sons and I have used this facility and been completely satisfied.

     I did not have dental insurance and a friend recommended A.B. My teeth had been neglected for almost 13 years and I had broken teeth, old exposed mercury based fillings causing mercury toxicity and chronic pain.

     I am a dental coward and was really scared to go to Mexico but had no other choice. Surprisingly, I was more than pleased with the treatment I received - no more mercury toxicity, no more chronic pain.

    I was greeted by friendly people who examined me and let me know in detail what needed to be done. I came back a few days later prepared to stay in the beautiful hotel where American Biodental is located- I wanted to get everything done in one fell swoop. The first day they removed all my mercury fillings and fit me for inlays for the teeth that could be saved. I was sedated for this procedure.

   The second day they put the inlays in and extracted 9 teeth with the help of an Amereican anaesthesiologist. I was treated repectfully, kindly, and professionally and at no time did I experience any pain whatsoever. I had also been fitted for partial dentures and sent me home on the 3rd day with them, then came back to receive my permanent partials. It was difficult to fit them properly since I pretty much had no molars left and had to come back 2 times. For my inconvenience they even reduced my whole fee.

   There was never a language barrier , always someone who spoke English very well and I felt well cared for. I will go back there when I need dentistry.
