First in the morning I receive a call at my office and then 6 additional calls to my cell with 1 message left demanding I call them back regarding a legal matter. He has a foreign accent and there is alot of commotion in the backc ground so he is hard to her, he knows my name , address and all of my banking information right off the bat, he tells me my ssn# and drivers license. He claims his name is Brian Smith from ACLS and I received a 425.00 cash advance from Cash Net and never repaid it. I ask him when this was and at first he told me August 10, 2011 then corrected that and said May 11, 2011. My ssn # and drivers license have been frozen how am I going to take care of this today? I told him I needed to go to my bank and get my statements and check for the deposit into my account, upon doing this I pulled 3 months just in case and no deposit anywhere for $425.00, he asks me to fax him the bank statements, after finding about the company on the web I called my bank and had to put a fraud alert on my account. I have to go to the bank close this account and open a new account, now the direct deposits and automatic bills I pay have to be swithched to a completely new account. What a pain. Good thing though my banker is keeping an eye on my account to watch for fraudulent transactions until Friday when I can get it changed.
