DO NOT USE. I must tell you as I read these reviews some of the behavior described by the customers would strike me as a bit unbelievable if I had not been a recipient myself. I used ADL as transportation to and from the airport for my trip to Mexico with my daughter.
I discovered during the early part of my week stay in Mexico that I had made a mistake regarding the date of my return (and hence pickup). I call ASAP to inform ADL of the change. In fact, left several messages requesting a return call. This I never received and become concerned. Then on the ORIGINAL day of pickup I received a phone call from the driver stating that he was at the airport. To which I replied "I am still in Mexico and have asked for my pickup date to be changed to SUNDAY morning...Will you be there?" The reply I received was that he was just the driver and did not know.
When I call later in the afternoon (saturday) I was told that they had NOT received any messages and that I was to be charged for a 2nd trip if I wanted to be picked up. Then I was told yes they had one message but it was at 3:30 on Friday and hence less than the 24 hrs required. I then asked why they would send the driver to the airport if THEY KNEW about my change. I was then told the only reason for the issue was the STUPIDTY of the CUSTOMER.
MM Absolutely the cream of customer service to call the customer STUPID I always say. However, I believe Nico called and apologized later and told me that they would be there Sunday and not charge me.
However, when the driver called me at 6:20 am on Sunday (my plane was due to arrive at 6:47 am) and I told him we were just getting to the gate. He said....we will have to charge you for a delay. What? I was not even late at that point. I attempted to ascertain WHERE he was located. To no avail. His language skills were quite poor. He hung up on me. My daughter and I were stranded at the airport.
Oddly enough I am a REPEAT customer. The first experience was pleasant and I chose to use ADL on a 2nd occassion. If I had only the first experience, I might have read the comments and thought that the people where crackers. However, having lived the nightmare of horrendous customer service, downright abuse, and being stranded I can attest that this is a company to be avoided at all costs.
