The only Customer Service contact for this card is in India. It is very difficult to understand these people and they seem to always have a scripted response to inquiries.
Very simple. American Express states funds will be available within 5 business days. This is false and is false advertising. I will file a fraud claim with my bank to return my money to my bank account today.
Very disappointed with this whole situation. Great concept but failed application.

Jumping the gun...

It sounds like you "initiated" the transfer on the 9th, after the cut-off time. So because of the weekend and Veterans day holiday the request wasn't even processed until the first possible banking day(the 13th). So if they are talking about banking days from the day the money is withdrawn, 5 days isn't actually up until the 19th because of the upcoming weekend.
It isn't like flipping a switch, even if you called your bank right now, it would probably be a good 1-2 more days at the earliest before you would get your money back. Now, if by the middle of next week you still don't have your money..then you may have a valid reason to complain.
