On Sept 17 I contacted AFA for a concern about the information fields necessary to do a "contact your Senator campaign" they were encouraging and was directed the the legal counsel Pat Vaughn who heard my concerns and then said "Thank you for calling, Good Bye" and I quote and then hung up on my.  It is never my intention to force my views on other people or organization but do believe it is common courtesy to not hang up on people.  When I called right back they said he was unavailable and encouraged to leave a message which was never returned.  Today Sept 18 I called again and was sent to voice mail but only stated why should I leave a message when you did not return yesterdays?

I called back a second time and was connected to another voice mail and after that they blocked my calls from my land line so switched to cell phone and asked if they were having phone problems.  The response was "only from you".  Then I called the AFA store and explained all this to them and the response was polite but also that they could do nothing.  To the best of my knowledge I was polite in all of the above conversations and do not understand the rude way in which I am being treated.  I've always been taught you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.  This organization claims to be a Christian organization and as such is required to be polite, kind and loving but is anything but!!!

I recommend a boycott of this organization until they learn some manners!!!!

were you there? name calling?

AUTHOR: Robert Lester - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 26, 2012

You sir are obviously are taking the side of AFA wrong or right and unconcerned with polite, decent behavior.  I'm sorry YOU STILL DON'T GET IT and have to resort to name calling.
You sound as rude as they were.  Apparently you work there or are affiliated with them and rather than admit or correct the problem you defend and support/condone their rudeness so I have no use for you either.  This is not rocket science but no matter how succinctly I explain it you won't accept it.
Oh Well.  Just for your benefit I 'm going to file several more reports on AFA from as many other places I can.  Hope you (PAT VAUGHN...you who started this whole thing) and AFA enjoy them.  Wouldn't it just be easier to admit you were wrong and simply apologize?  I guess not.  Sure would not like to have you for legal counsel...you'd quickly be fired PAT or is is paaaat?

Sounded polite to me.

I'm not missing the point at all.   They listened to your complaint, they thanked you, then they hung up.    Rudeness?   They thanked you!

You strike me as one of those blowhards that is upset when people will not sit and listen to them go on and on about some nitpicky subject.   People have better things to do.

They listened to your issue, obviously weren't interested, thanked you and hung up.    At this point, most people would take the hint and move on with their lives.     Apparently, you believe that your opinion is so important that people should be forced to listen to it,  not once, but many times.
If you behave like a pest, don't be surprised when you are treated like a pest.   You weren't ripped off, you're just upset that an organization doesn't choose to waste its time listening to your complaint (that they already heard once).  Something that is certainly their perogative.

Dear Flynwriter
In response to your rebuttal.  I don't know about you but I was raised to be polite to people even if I disagree and believe a Christian organization should go the extra mile to be polite.  I could care less if they agree with the issue raised as already CLEARLY stated...the point is THEIR RUDENESS.  Could be mistaken but think you missed the whole point. I demand their apology and will continue to file reports like this should they ignore this.  Are you condoning rudeness?
