Complaint Review: American Family Insurance
American Family Insurance6000 American Parkway Madison, Wisconsin United States of America
American Family Insurance AmFam Company fails to pay legitimate claims including MedPay. Uses it's lawyers to agressily fight you. Madison, Wisconsin
*Consumer Comment: AMSCAM DEAD FROM THE NECK UP
Personally, I was rear ended twice with in six months and my injuries required the emergency room, multiple doctors, MRI's and physical therapy. To this day not one of my bills were paid and I am in collection from these treatment facilities as I am being held responsible for bills that are clearly covered under MedPay.
The body shops refused to perform all the repairs resultant from the accident and would only perform minimal cosmetic work. My agent was changed three time in a year and the replacements were either unable or unwilling to get involved . I cancelled my realtionship with American Family and they sent me a small balance due which I refused to pay and they have placed me with a collection company.
I have not been involved in an accident for more than a decade previously. The constantly raised my rates only to fail to perform. I am now happily with State Farm who is a legitimate operation.
