I believe this Mason Capital (with Gretchen Fox & Associates) may now be going by the name of American Financial Group. This company called me, and described a loan modification program that sounded 'Too good to be true;' and of course, there would be a $1000+ fee upfront... I asked for more information about the company and was told they were located in the San Fernando Valley; I was given a web address of: www.americanfinancialtoday.com, which didn't work - and no matter how I searched the company name, American Financial Group, nothing valid appeared which increased my doubt about the company. That's when I searched them on Ripoff Report and up came all this information under the names of Mason Capital and 'Gretchen Fox & Associates (who is named on the answering system with contact information when you call the number for 'American Financial').
