Complaint Review: American Home Shield
American Home ShieldPO Box 17866 Memphis, Tennessee United States of America
American Home Shield Micro Wave Waveoff Memphis, Tennessee
The first person told my wife that the part was still on order. I called later and found out that she had just been lied to in order to get her off the phone. The part no longer existed and we would receive a new microwave installation. We were told to call a different number.
When we called the new number after waiting on hold for another 30 minutes, the person at AMS asked my wife to measure the height and width and the interior depth which my wife did. We were offered money or a Sears replacement with installation. We chose the replacement.
When the Sears tech arrived, the new microwave would not fit depth wise into the original space, and the trim package, if installed would keep the upper cabinet from being opened. We refused the microwave and now AMS wants a $75.00 restock fee to continue the process.
Because they could care less, instead of working with my wife to insure that we received a proper replacement, they sent her to an online photo and said, "You can have this one".
I will take them to court even if it costs 10 times what the microwave is worth.
These guys are bad news with terrible service.
