American Home Shield AHS Denied my claim for an A/C part failure from normal wear and tear....after 30 years of use in Texas. Internet, Internet

American Home Shield has a clear track record of bad behavior, shame on me for not knowing that.  They denied my A/C claim for a failing blower motor, claiming it was not serviced properly (which is according to my research, their common fall back position).  You can't dispute it, get a second opinion, zero recourse.  What their guy says is the end game.  Save yourself a few hours on hold. 

Their warranty is pretty specific about covering failure due to normal wear and tear.  So you'd think they might cover an electric motor failure after 30 years.  Nope.  I took a pretty deep dive into their history; let me save you some time.  Stay away.  Far away.  Far, far, away.  And if you have had a bad experience, keep an eye out for the next class action suit, or go after them in small claims.  They're used to it, for some reason.
