When approaching the door of a home to administer a study by the American Institute of Consumer Studies I am greeted by a total stranger. In some cases the person behind the door has received and opened a letter informing them of my arrival, and in some cases they have not. I am a respected member of the community in which I live, ( I am educated, trained, finger printed and vetted) which is hundreds, sometimes thousands of miles from the door I have knocked on. What they know about me and the company I respresent is very limited. It is my job and my desire to put them at ease and allow them to know the truth about why I am there. The article entitled AICS RIPOFF from many years ago on this website is a deterent to many. AICS has an A+ record with the Better Business Bureau, is completely ethical and does exactly what it says it is going to do. Furthermore, it is a public service to each and every community to help them get their opinions, needs, likes and dislikes provided to those companies that are providing them with their media needs. AICS interviewers quickly and effectively ask questions, gather and submits information and pays the respondent for their time. The information is rather generic and does not EVER use or distribute the name of the respondent to anyone. Since the company has been doing studies for over 25 years they have such a minimal amount of complaints that they those complaints are statistically irrelevant. Unfortunatley RIPOFF REPORT does not delete old or inaccurate information provided them without going into a legal process. I am submitting this letter in hopes that MY letter will show up on this site to set the record straight. Please call and ask AICS for more information if I have not answered your questions. You will enjoy the interview and you will be compensated for your valuable time.
