I have complied with the requirements since I began treatments for the removal of hair from my lip and legs over 3 years ago.

When I first began treatment, I had braces on my teeth. After submitting to treatment which I found to be painful, the staff seems somewhat unsure how to offer proper comfort in order to avoid pain. Cotton was suggested and that did not help. There was no delay in service offered or other suggested. I finally got myself a mouth guard for sport for people with braces. This was an extra cost to me.

After completing all the required treatments with no success visible I was told by Manager,who has been with the clinic for over a year, that she would have found me an unsuitable candidate in the first place. I am not the type of person with light skin and light hair that would likely respond well to this treatment.

I just don't understand why, with all my complaints and comments about the lack of visible improvement nobody said any thing.

I complained each time that I was told to sign the two year guarantee that the service was not working for me and that I felt if I signed the guarantee that it was stating that everything was going well and that the hair removal treatments had worked and now I was getting the two year guarantee that no more hair would grow for two years.

I was assured that if I did not sign the agreement that American laser could not do anything more for me and that I was forfeiting the guarantee for the treatment to work.

Before each treatment session a picture was taken of my lips and legs. Before each session I was told to shave my treatment areas. I did not understand how the standard digital camera could capture any treatment's ability to be successful with a standard digital camera. The treatments can not show any improvement from a clean shaved surface.

In speaking with 2nd Asst manager, when she was trying to photograph me in November of 2008 of my quite long, but very light hair, she admitted that the camera she was using was difficult to use to capture accurate photos. She was allowed to visualyl verify that there was completely consistent hair still visible on my lip and after 3 years of treatment not hair loss was visible.

The hair on my legs have been through the same period of treatment and have also shown no signs of response to treatment. At one time, the manager had suggested that I be double passed to see if that would work. The staff did some double treatments on the lips but only did this occasionally on the legs.

Due to the fact that the staff was not consistent, I was told that in order for me to be considered a non-responder, the clinic need to continue to try 3 more treatment sessions which would extend over the next 6 months of double passes.

This would extend past the dates I was given for my guarantee dates.

Since I have asked to be considered as a non-responder. I have been given several different guarantee conclusions and several different dates depending on how the treatments and my responses could be considered. I was told by April that I was on a 12 treatment plan and my legs would be guaranteed through 2010.

Then when I told her that I wanted the pictures sent in and considered as a non-responder for the second time-request. She said I was under a 6 treatment plan and the guarantee had just ended.

In speaking to the manager in the clinic with my husband, she had told me that the guarantee date for my legs ended in May of 2009 and that if I wanted to be considered for a non-responder, I should make a decision soon. She was the first person to actually tell me that I needed to request some assistance in stating that the treatment did not workotherwise in signing the guarantees, it was understood that all treatments were successful. She was also willing to give me some credit to use if my husband wanted to use the money toward his treatment for this back which did not requirement much treatment at all, but that I would need to pay another $1000 and she was "offering me a good deal"

She then told me that she would have never signed me up as a candidate because of my hair color and skin color. She recognized that I would be a poor responder and that the service would not be something that I would be happy with.

She did suggest that I could trade this service in for other services offered.

However, I have tried other services and found no success either.

I have been severly burned a couple of times and been compensated by free microderms but there are no other services offered that I would want or feel like trying at the risk or more disappointment.

I would prefer to get my money refunded for all services paid for. I have followed all directions regardless of a lack of having qualified staff.

When I complained about some of my treatments being harsh and some of the burns that were obvious for weeks, some of the staff commented that they had heard complaints about the other staff.

In trying to do the cellulite treatment not only was I burned, the treatment was painful, I had severe bruising and not for one week did my legs loose and each or look like legs that I could show off my legs in a short skirt.

I am not an out of shape person and take pride in keeping up my looks and health.

I would appreciate some time and consideration for an appointment with a regional manager since I have spoken to the local managers and gotten no satisfactory results for my "guarantee".
