it was the $275,000 cash nest egg it had managed to accumulate over years ofliving prudently managing its business prior to the 2009 recession. By coincidence the AMS "consultants" offered to recommend programs that "will improve your overall business operation." the company's billings under the part-time (two person) engagement quickly exceeded $250,000 in just 90-days before the company's owner realized that he had made a terrible error in judgment. AMS's work product was nothing more than a high pressure sole objective was to separate the client from the cash and with surgical precision.
While there may be some out there in America (possibly the Banjo builders from Tennessee) who had a different experience, it is my assessment American Management Services entire business model is by design and implementation predatory; in the extreme. Perhaps even the fertile ground for the certification of a legal class? SoCaveat Emptor, or better
still..just say no, to the The Business Survey TM.

If their plan is so fantastic, why is it they beat around the bush, as to what exactly there fantastic plan implies? Not ONE person who I knew that worked there had any idea what the heck the company was doing for their clients.
When you search around for what exactly they do, you see that they like to use the names "partner america", and "US Conference of America", it sounds fancy and all, but it still gives no factual evidence to support that the company as a whole is beneficial to their clients.
Yes, its great and all to brag about your successes, but when your failures outweigh your success it sort of defeats the purpose. When I did alittle bit of "unbiased" research it was extremely evident that most of your clients are not happy with you "business plan", and didnt have very nice things to say.
The same goes for your employees.
Im sure george clotier is feeding at the trough right now with all the money he's getting.

Saved My Company and Instilled GREAT Systems

. American Management Services saved my company. They came in and did an analysis that was probably worth somewhere between $15,000 and $20,000. They did my survey for $2500.00. Now I don't know any company in the marketplace that is willing to do something at that deep discount in order to prove their worth to you. Any other firm that I spoke with, were looking at a minimum of $25-$50,000 and some wanted $100,000just to conduct the analysis and give me a plan.
You can say what you want about American Management Services, but there is absolutely no one else that I know of that is willing to do this. Nobody is twisting your arm to make improvements in your organization. It may be difficult to look into the mirror and recognize that you do not possess the talent or the experience to implement the changes that they are suggesting. I readily and freely admit that.
When I read the story below about the company who was unhappy with the outcome, it brings to mind all of the times that I was reluctant to make the changes necessary to save my company. I am very curious to hear how the company got into that fix in the first place. Was this accredited investor with a 30 year track record they to guide them? After all, he states that he was on the board of this company. So let me see if I got this straight, you waited to get help until you were on the verge of bankruptcy and $250,000 away from running out of cash. And you blame American Management Services for this? Are you really giving us the whole story? because I can tell you from personal experience, that they were incredibly focused on rate of return for all the dollars spent.
I certainly do not want to get into an argument with someone that refers to people from Tennessee as" banjo builders"because there is certainly no gain in that. I'm sorry to hear that you waited so long to ask for help and then could not look in the mirror and take responsibility for where the company is ended up. Perhaps if you acted sooner, there would've been a significantly higher probability that you could've actually saved this company. and I'm sorry, whose fault was that?
So I say, you would be absolutely insane not to do at least the survey with American Management Services. That is simply the deal of a lifetime. However, if you do not want to hear the truth and you just want to keep your head buried in the sand then maybe this genius accredited investor is right.
In closing, thank you American Management Services for getting me and my company moving in the right direction. It was not easy to admit to my inability to do certain things, but it sure as hell was necessary.
