These people call my mom around the clock. They have threatened her with the police if she doesn't do as they want. They call and say that they have $1.8 million plus a new Mercedez that will be delivered at 5:30 P.M. What they require her to do is purchase a Green Dot Money Pak in the amount of $1000.00. They specify that it MUST have a 14 digit authorziation number on it as there are some with 16 digits and they don't want those. They tell her to get in her car and go get the the card and don't forget to wear her seat belt(?). They inquire as to how long it will thke her to do that and that they will call her back after the required time. They give you a secret code 240S. This isn't to be shared with anyone because someone may try to scam her out of her money (ha)! They call her numerous times a day. I have bloked 'private number' and 'unknown caller' on her phone but suspect that they will find a way around that. One time she gave them her SS# and checking account number. We had to close her account which was a big hassle. Surley there is something that can be done about this.
