American Mortgage Aid Scam.........Richard Martin is a Scam artist and lier irvine California

 I WORKED WITH THIS COMPANY AND THEY CHARGED ME $1795.00 SUPPOSELY FOR SOME XRAY AND TOLD ME THE AMOUNT I PAID WOULD BE DEDUCTATED OFF MY $3000.00 BALANCE THAT I WAS GONNA BE CHARGED FOR THE MODIFICATION...IM NOT GONNA STOP UNTIL I GET MY MONEY BACK FROM YOU GUYS...WHEN I FINALLY LEFT A MESSAGE IN THE MANAGERS VOICE MAIL WHO IS LEAH SIMS I GET A 3 PAGE EMAIL STATING A BUNCH OF BS...DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY THEY ARE THIEFS WHO PREY ON VULNERABLE PEOPLE !!

 The last statement I made on my rebuttal was incorrect :

American Mortgage Aid again, does not charge any fee for a modification, and a report is not required to become a client of American Mortgage Aid. This accusation is false and without substance or fact.

WE DO NOT CHARGE and advanced fee for a modificaiton, only when the borrower receives a modification and accepts the modification

      This is a rebuttal to a complaint made against American Mortgage Aid on 5/10/2013. The accusation came from a "Tim B****" which is not a client that we have ever worked with. My name is Leah Sims and I am the Operations Manager for American Mortgage Aid. WE DO NOT collect any upfront fees, it is illegal to do so since the passing of SB94. American Mortgage Aid only charges a service fee when a clients modification has been approved, and the client has accepted the new modification.

     Borrowers are offered a chance to purchase a REST Report  from a company called Mortgage Alert (A approved retailer of the REST REPORT company) Clients are not required to purchase a report to be clients of American Mortgage Aid, but we have found that borrowers that opt to purchase the report increase their chances of obtaining a loan modification, and it helps American Mortgage Aid see what programs the client will or should be approved for. We will still work on a loan modification for our clients even if they do not opt to purchase a report from Mortgage Alert. The charge for the REST report goes directly to Morgage Alert, and the report when generated by them is sent to American Mortgage Aid and the the client that purchased it. The REST company has put a price range on the report to their retailers of $795- $1500. Mortgage Alert is within that range.

     The report is ordered by American Mortgage Aid once the borrower decides they want to purchase the report, and have sent all the necessary documents needed to run an accurate report. The report cannot be generated until the borrower gets in all the information.

     American Mortgage Aid submits on the clients behalf(and includes the REST report from Mortgage Alert) in the submission and follows the file all the way through to completion. If and when the borrower receives and approval and accepts the approval, the fee to American Mortgage Aid will be due. It is impossible to scam homeowners when we DO NOT receive ANY compensation until the job is completed. If we do not obtain an approval, there is not fee due to the client. We pride ourselves in helping homeowners and in all the time we have been in business have not one complaint besides this one.

     I urge the owner of this complaint (whatever their real name is) to contact me at 949-534-0590 if there is any questions or concerns that they have so we can make sure that they are taken care of immediately. I would also like to see proof that they are even a client of ours, as we do not have a "Tim Brown" as a client.
