i started going to amareican professional institute (api) in november of 2010 and finished around march of 2012 and during this time there was several allegations against the entity/school,but at the time i was several months into the curriculum and i did research the information,but i found that the allegations were sealed. I didnt really start back investingating until i continue to have personal issues and the school/api stipulated that i had to take a L.O.A. leave of abscence due to finiacial difficulties,and dealing with several government agencies.upon returning to api i had to teach my self which my instructor at the time stated. I was upset/livid,because i enrolled to get an education not to pay to go to school to teach myself and this was over a course of 3 and half months in which was not only frustrating but demoralizing and very unethical!!! to add too these stream of events once i was allowed to start on my clinicals i found out that i would not be able to get my liscense from the state of Georgia,because of my felony convictions in which they knew about! matter of a fact i had to be screened before i was accepted into api and one of the stipulations was that they have a copy of my record and once i was cleared then i started and the rest was history.. this was one of the most unsuccessful,frustrating,neverending lying institutions that really offered me an supposedly education for hefty student loan debt how unfortunately.. I would not wish this situation on my worst enemy seriously !!!!
