This place is a total rip-off, they are thieves and liars. The people that work there all know that this is a scam and they are all in on it.

This company promises to help find foreclosed or stressed homeowners and help their members with legal paperwork to assume the mortgage on the properties from the "distressed owners". I paid the $199 fee and I was given the results of my search. When I went to go check out the properties many of them were occupied. This made sense at first considering that they were supposed to be "distressed mortgages" that were in danger of being foreclosed but after seeng a few of these I decided to go ahead and ask the owner. One of the houses was in a nice area with a family hanging out in the yard. I stopped and asked the husband if they knew that their house was listed on this site (and even showed him the listing) and he said it was absolutely not true and that all the information on the listing was innaccurate. [continued below]....

.....

I brought this up to the company and they said that most owners are embarrased of the situation and won't admit to it??? Bogus answer obviously. I demanded a refund and they said I would have to provide three written letters from homeowners that don't want to sell their houses....Well the homeowners don't want to have anything to do with it and think that I'm part of the scam (rightfully so).

This was actually about two years ago and I filed a compaint with the BBB then but that didn't do anything at all except give me one vent source...I just looked the company up on here for grins since I was on the site and found over 100 reports. That is ridiculous that a company can keep doing the same scam for so long and not be held accountable for it.

Do you do this for a living?

AUTHOR: Alex H. - ()

Do you respond to rip-off reports for enjoyment or do you get paid for it?

If you cared to research it a little more you would see that you are wrong and that it is a scam not a service.

They advertise that the owners WANT to be helped out of this situation and that the company will help you with communication, legal paperwork, contracts, etc...all of this is untrue....As soon as you pay the fee all of the promised services disapear and you have no recourse to get your money back. Thanks for the input though...unfortunately some unsuspecting consumer that may be considering whether or not to use this SCAM service could run across your comment and decide to go ahead so hopefully that won't happen.

you do realize...

AUTHOR: Tyg - ()

That the homeowner is normally the last to know when their home is to be foreclosed on. Normally the financial institution is the one that would list the house. Mainly because its better for them to list it and have someone else take over the payments then have a house sitting empty. There is no revenue in that. These institutions are all about making money. If they can have someone living in and taking care of one of their properties and still make money on it, they will. Its not a scam. Its a cold harsh reality of our economy.

Now this business that you paid your money to in order to get these listings, did actually do the job. This information is public record. But they do the research for you. They simply compile the listings from what is in the public records. Since you didnt or couldnt do that research yourself, you paid to have that information collected for you. That is not a scam. That is a service. A service that I might remind you that you did use. So it seems the scammer is you. You got the information, you paid the fee, then found out that the information wasnt useful to you after useing it. Perhaps you like to order a steak then eat it and demand your money back because it wasnt pork.
