American Timeshare Marketing, John Davis, Robert Sipkin Rips Off it's customers Pompano Beach, Pompano Florida

We were contacted by American Timeshare Marketing in October 2007 by John Davis. We were told that this was a different Timeshare selling agency due to them actually having marketing meetings to sell the timeshares as opposed to just selling them on a website. We were guaranteed that they could sell it within a 90 day period and for more than we owe on it, as well as try and recover past money we had paid to other timeshare selling companies that had just posted us on a website. that has yet to happen as well.

After the 90 days was up and we hadn't heard from American Timeshare Marketing, we tried to contact American Timeshare Marketing about 12 different times with no return phone call from John Davis who sold us the contract or anyone else. Each time I called, I was told they were busy with closings and that I would be put on a list for them to call us back. This last time when we called, we asked again for John Davis and were told nobody by that name had ever worked there. The phone number on the paperwork we were provided by American Timeshare Marketing is now registered to Prestige Timeshare Marketing who just hung up on us when we asked for someone to talk to. We paid them $500 to sell our timeshare. We haven't heard back from them since they recieved our payment.

We feel this is a fraudulent business and has now gone out of business or continues to practice under another name until they have fraudulently taken other people's money. We are more than willing to be a part of a class action lawsuit against this company. Timeshares in general are a fraud and should really be regulated before being able to con people out of their money. A prior report that we read regarding this on google states a lot of the same things we have gone through or were promised regarding our situation.

If you have had this issue with these two companies, we strongly urge you to file this report. Maybe we will have enough people to get the class action suit and put them out of business and in jail for good!
