American Van Lines AVL I planned my out of state move from CA to PA in ample time ... to no avail. The day prior to pickup I was informed there was a delay. I had to rent a U-Haul, a storage space and find people to help me Scottsdale, Arizona

The form states that I (without duress), will remove the complaint filed here at Ripoff, or update my complaint stating that a satisfactory resolution was reached. The deal is, if I do not do this I do not get their measly $300 reimbursement. Also, any complaint or grievance that I file or have filed will result in a retraction of my $300 reimbursement. Is this not a major form of duress, or even a form of harassment, or a type of threat ..... ie, if you do not do what we say, we will not fairly give you the money that is due to you. WOW! Does this not speak loudly as to what type of company American Van Lines is?
I no longer have the credit card that I utilized for this move, however in spite of several conversations with the company informing them of this .... they continue to state both verbally and in writing that they will reimburse the $300 to my credit card.
This issue is primary, however there remains the issue of one missing box ... which in today's letter states is an issue that has also been resolved.
What does satisfactory resolution mean? What does without duress mean?
