America’s Choice Moving and Storage Lied about price, Broke Items and STOLEN items Tools!! Van Nuys California

When given our quote of $2693.67 it literally doubled when they arrived. I called them over and over and over again to add weight to the original estimate to get a more accurate quote (because we didn't have much money just our tax return) and I let them know we had a 700 square foot garage full of boxes and furniture, they said "oh don't worry about it, the movers will adjust accordingly when they arrive"  I had no idea that meant it would ad $2400 to the new bill. We would have rented a u- haul ourselves like we originally planned had we known that would have been the outcome. Not only that they had us wait 3 weeks with no furniture and when they arrived, their 3rd party carrier said he would never work with this company again because of how unorganized and the many complaints from other customers. They broke things and clearly destroyed boxes then re-taped the boxes very poor work. They broke items and never delivered some items, such as carpenter tools. Their estimate to repay what they wrecked is a joke and I believe these people to be gangsters. They were so unprofessional. They didn't even take all out items, we had to pick and chose what they would fit into the truck. They told me they would send a 23 foot truck, i said that would be perfect, thinking thats all for us but they neglected to tell us that our stuff would be with other peoples stuff all on the same truck. They had to come back another day just to grab stuff we had picked from. It was a joke of a delivery company and they really should be shut down to say the least. My friends that used them had the exact experience, they were quoted one price and it literally doubled when they arrived to pick up their stuff. Also the lady they delivered to in Seattle had the same experience from what the third party mover told me, they doubled her quote as well and didn't bother delivering large items. They are crooks and need to be shut down.Im sure this has happened to most of their customers and they need a class action suit against them! My estimate is based on 1500 of lost tools and broken item plus half the delivery charge that we would have never paid if they we're honest.  YOU ALL HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER FOR THEM TO, ITS BEEN DISCONNECTED (WONDER WHY)
