Went in on a Friday to have brakes, and service engine light looked at, as well, change of oil and if alignment was needed on my work van. Shop called me in the evening, and $1400 latter(super duper tune-up, complete brake job, wires, plugs, fuel injection clean), was told everything was good to go. The following Monday, got it on the road and in the first 5 minutes, service engine light on again. When I finished my service call, noticed antifreeze under the van which I've never had a leak before. Took it back and told them that I never had a leak before and if I had, I would have told them '"hey my radiator leaks, fix that also". So, one of the managers said, well, maybe we could have hit it or something, so we'll fix it. I left, and the next morning another manager said, "we can't fix that, the other guy is new and it's obvious this things been leaking for 6 months, but I'll work with you on the price.....$700+....it's a bear to change, you gotta take off the front, etc., etc."....well, I said, don't worry, I'll change it myself...$240 for the part and an hour to change it...When I changed it, noticed that they hadn't even changed the oil...same dirty filter...so I went back, and a few appologies later, left and of course, service engine light on again...next diagnosis, need ignition coil replaced....$277 for a $100 part and 8 minute change out(also wrong diagnosis). Then, still check engine light, so I took it to Advanced just to get reading to see code....misfire on 6....so, took it back...and they supposedly tested..."oh, you got water getting in there, need to replace upper and lower gaskets and that will definitely fix it!" and that's only $750 but I'll take off and hour...so, fought back and forth, and agreed to go in half if that was going to fix the problem...well, you know the answer to that...didn't fix...so next diagnosis, "I think he probably broke a fuel injector when he put it back together, it happens, but we'll get it fixed tomorrow"...well, again...NOT....then, manager gives me $0 invoice for that repair..thanks...so then, go in the next day...and...."wow, your water pump is leaking water"..blah, blah, blah....so finally got in touch with owner, and went round and round, ( they wanted me to come pick up my van with a tow truck, didn't want to work on it any more )....so he finally agreed to fix the pump and take it to another store to find out about the check engine light(admitted that his techs there aren't really qualified and that I would see new faces next time I went in for oil change)...well, get call from manager..."you won't believe this but it was the fuel injector, we must of got a bad one when we changed it the first time"...needless to say....DON'T GO TO ANY OF THESE SHOPS....PS...WHILE SITTING IN WAITING ROOM VARIOUS TIMES OVER THE 2 WEEKS, SAME STORY FOR MANY CUSTOMERS...COME IN WITH MINOR ISSUE...THEN, YOU NEED A $2000 REPAIR, ETC, ETC.....ALSO....NOW MY SERPENTINE BELT IS SHREDDING, DUE TO REPAIR OF PUMP, SCREW VISIBLY NOT INSTALLED TO HOLD PART IN PLACE WHERE BELT IS RUNNING....THIS FRANCHISE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED!!!!.

folks steve is suffering from the consequences of going to a 'fast food' auto shop.
i know first hand what these idiots are doing and its a discrace. i am a diagnostic tech at a major auto repair facility in acworth. i worked at a$$ for a very short time in 2003 and could not believe the dishonesty of greg sands (owner of all of them) and all his sales people and "techs". you are way better off finding an independent shop to fix your car. dont go for the bs hype of chain shops,a$$ is run by a bunch of fast food idiots.

Van worst than when I started!!

Been back few weeks ago to get problems resolved and it sat there for 3 days with nothing really done. Told to schedule and bring it back when they could get particular mechanic to look at it. Took it back to auto supply and got reading(before I went to see them-3 misfires now and can't keep oil in it/never had to maintain oil before. Also, went to lunch with guy who was friends of one of the managers, said his friend was no longer there, couldn't keep up with the deceptive way dealing with customers( he was the one willing to repair my radiator at first). So now its months later, still running with the misfire and oil problem. Get a call from manager to inquire when I could bring it in so we can fix it and that they had seen my Ripoff Report. Well, brought it in and sat basically other 3 days, still don't know and will get back to it on monday when mechanic gets back from personal thing. I'm going to give them opportunity to fix it seeing how its worst then when I started but don't have much faith. It's like I went to the hospital with a cold and came out with cancer. I don't think its a coincidence that everytihing went bad while in their care...recharged for alignment they had already done with warranty, radiator leak that didn't have before, ignition coil that I believe didn't need changing nor gaskets, oil problem, water pump, oil change they didn't do and charge for it, promise after promise to get on it and fix it only to sit and sit. Can't understand how a company can do business this way. I had done about $2000 worth of work about 9 months ago and now I 'm wondering really how much of what they said was true. You can't keep open a business when you get a rep. like they're getting....Hopefully karma will take care of this place because, apparently the management doesn't know how to. I've had a good record of predicting the closure/badluck of other places/clients that have screwed me and give this place about 8 months. You can only rip-off people so much before they get wise to you....greed doesn't pay!
