Americorp Financial Investments Christopher Banks (probably fake) I was scammed out of $2,276 by Americorp Financial Investments by pretending to finance the sale of my time share to Alex and Jennifer Prado of Elmendorf, Texas. Las Vegas, Nevada

In April 2012 I received a phone call from a Christopher Banks who said he worked for Americorp Financial Inversments and had a couple who wanted to buy my time membership at the Grand Mayan resort in Acapulco.  The price was $26,000 and they would deposit a "good faity" deposit of $7,476.00 to cover 20% of the price and 2,276 closing costs.  I was to send  a certified check of $2,276 as my half of closing costs to the Bank of Navada, which I did.

I received a signed contract with Alex and Jennifer Prados signature, and I and my girl friend signed it and sent it back.  In a couple days I received an electronic receipt by email and was told the purchase should be complete in about a month. 

After a few weeks I tried several times to contact Mr. Banks only to here his phone had been disconnected and I began to get suspecious.  I found other people on this website who have been scammed the same way I have been.
