I signed up with Ameriplan and reached RSD within a month.

I had a lot of people sign up for the service, but after a few months of those people signing up I found myself having a negative balance because they were canceling their memberships as fast as I could sign people up. The reason they were canceling is because there are not enough, if any doctors or dentist in this area. I have submitted at least 25 referrals to Ameriplan, but I have not heard from anyone with Ameriplan and no one will tell me if the doctors or dentist have been contacted. I think I could do really well in this area, but at the moment I have cancelled until I see more doctors and dentist, etc. in this area. The company does not respond very well.

I would like someone from Ameriplan to please let me know when to exspect more doctors in this area?

#1 UPDATE Employee

Just because you were dishonest . . .

AUTHOR: Greg - (U.S.A.)

To the original poster.
Providing good customer service will keep customer on the books. Bad customer service, misrepresenting your product, or not fully explaining the benefits will cause massive drop off.
Before I ever enroll a member I have researched how many providers there are in their area. If there are not enough, then I tell them so. No sense in enrolling a member that will be unhappy and quit. There is no money in it and it isn't worth the aggravation!

As for the 2nd poster . . .
Didn't I see this same message posted on another scam report but with a differetn user name?)
JUST KIDDING!
But seriously, you say you had a job being dishonest.

Does it make you an authority for all other MLM's?

I personally reply to each post as I see fit. I do not get paid to do so, but I feel when AmeriPlan is attacked by an individual who is not being completely honest about the issues, then someone out there may read it and believe it to be 100% true.
As for copying things verbatum . . .
It may be that cutting and pasting some replies makes some sense. If two people are complaining about similiar issues that have the same response wouldn't cutting and pasting be faster than typing it all out again?

As for your "inside knowledge" on the 60 minutes thing. I can't say one way or the other about that. How did you come by this information? Can you tell the rest of us where we can see the same information? Or was it something you were privy to?

And even if Morley Safer sold himself out to the highest bidder, doesn't every commercial do the same thing? As long as no lies were told, what's the big deal on which television "actor" endorses whatever product?

Are you really a disinformation agent for an ANTI-MLM company and are posting things like what you said to scare people away from honest MLM's?

Apparently you would be willing to do that for money since you already have before!

So how can I trust what you say as true?

The truth is I can't and neither can anyone else.

So let me say this to anyone reading this.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO GET INVOLVED IN ANY BUSINESS, DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Call the BBB and ask how the company is doing and how it compares to other comapnaies. I don't think there is a single company that has had no complaints. You just can't make everyone happy. But ask the BB how AmeriPlan stacks up against some of the other comanies that help people save money when they go to a Dr or Dentist.

Compare apples to aples (I think I said that in another post so I misspelled the second apples so you would know I wasn't cutting and pasting!)

#2 Consumer Comment

Ameriscam brokers constantly monitor this and other scam-sniffer sites.

AUTHOR: Fielding - (U.S.A.)

This is about the brokers of Ameriplan USA, and not about Ameriplan itself. To avoid confusion, I will refer to the brokers as "Ameriscam".

Why do you think Ameriscam brokers are taking the time to write rebuttals to every complaint on this site? I used to work for an MLM, not as a broker, but as a disinformation poster. My job was to surf the web for negative comments and post rebuttals designed to offer glowing opinions while subtly making the originating poster feel like an idiot.

Everytime someone posts a negative comment, it has a major potential to hurt the company being accused, and that's why these MLMs & businesses pay people good $$ to spend time finding and rebutting your posts. If you look closely you'll notice that some of these rebuttals repeat the same sentences word for word, and even have the same spelling errors, but are posted under different names.

The people who file complaints often have the same story to tell, and every rebuttal blames the problem on the complainant and their lack of experience, stupidity, etc. That's all I see happening with this MLM, and their disinformation team - or "cleanup crew" - needs to mask themselves better.

One of Ameriplan's broker's biggest selling points is a brief "report" done by 60 Minutes. This is a complete LIE. 60 Minutes had nothing to do with it. At one time Morley Safer hosted a series called "American Business Review", and "American Medical Review". These were infomercials paid for by Ameriplan USA and other pharmaceuticals, disguised as news reports. Safer left the faux report to be replaced by Walter Cronkite, who, after figuring out it was a scam, sued the creators.

Use your nose, and listen to your gut feeling. If it smells funny and doesn't feel right - it's best to avoid it.
