Ameripos totally misrepresented the services that was sold to me. Rip-off! Hallandale Florida

I invested with Ameripos in January of 2004. I purchased 10 terminals and was promised a reasonable return on my investment. The terminals are very hard to place. They changed 3 locators on me, none of which could place a terminal for me. They initially stated there were several locations available in Houston, Texas. To this day, August 2, 2004 I still have 7 of the 10 terminals sitting at home. I have 2 in the state of Florida which are not active and the owner will not return my calls. This is a location that they found after I severly scorned the locator.

Of the $23,978.00 that I invested in Januray 2004, I have only received $13.00 in commission. It was very difficult to get phone calls returned. I spoke to several people within their management team only to be lied to over and over. Like many others, I checked the BBB who did not have a bad report on them.

I have since filed a complaint with Florida's Attorney General's office who wrote me back stating they had received my complaint and would be looking into the matter.

I still have a personal telephone of one of the locators that was assigned to me. He suggested that I should go ahead and contact the Attorney General's office. He also stated that the Postal Office had seized the computers of Ameripos.

I, too, feel like I got duped, but this is America. I feel it is time to stop the Enrons (Houston, TX.) and companies like Ameripos. This is also election year and the Governor of Florida is the President's brother. We may not get our monies back, however, the Rick Nye's of Ameripos should be prosecuted. America should not be built on lies, but hard work and honest investments from sincere people. No wonder 9/11 went so smoothly. It is people like the management of Ameripos that will stoop to do anything to make a buck.

It is time that Governor Bush stand up for his state and rid it of those unAmerican that lend themselves to acts that are just as devistating as terrorism.
