I am one of the people who were screwed by ameriquest. I closed on my loan in June 2005. I also signed the release for the multistate settlement. Please keep in mind that if you signed the release form that you can no longer go after ameriquest UNLESS your property ends up in foreclosure proceedings. That is the only reason I signed the relase. All I wanted was to have my loan modified and get get on track. So it is important to know that if you did sign the release and amc, now called Citi Residential, is now trying to take your home away from you, you CAN take legal action.

Also, please have an attorney look at your loan documents. If it is filled with violations you may be able to have your loan rescinded.
