Amerisave Mortagage Bait & Switch, approved low rate then cancelled loan to switch to higher rate, Internet

Amerisave has an automatic online interest rate calculator - which gives attractive rates.  These were later confirmed by the company after FICO scores and income was submitted to Amerisave. I was presented with a "good faith estimate" and had to pay for the appraisal.  Had appraisal and a lode of paperwork (tax returns, banckl accounts, checking acocunts etc) sent to Amerisave. All this was verbally approved as meeting loan guidelines. 

awaited approval at stated rate but was denied.  I applied in early February and by the 25th they said they wanted my yet unfiled 2011 Tax returns.  They notified me that Loan was cancelled and If I want to get a loan they would await my 2011 tax returns which in the USA is required by April 15, two month hence. This is a tactic to extract more fees and increase the loan rate, as rates are increasing daily.  I have excellent credit and make a good income way more than the ratio required for this loan.
