Worked many, many hours expecting about $500 check and was advised would receive $16 because I had not deducted company charges from my totals.
No one at the company clearly advises the tax preparers of how to calculate your expected commission check. Their newspaper ad says earn $10,000- sure the office manager may get close but definitely not the preparers.
Tried to contact the area manager for an explanation but of course did not get a return call.
