Ancestry.com, Myfamilytree.com Ripoff, fraudulent invitation for trial offer. Won't let you cancel, won't respond to complaints. Bills your card despite shoddy & unscruptuless business practices. Internet
*Consumer Suggestion: Nothings Free
*Consumer Comment: Nothings Free
My thinking is the average user doesn't try to cancel until the end of the FREE TRIAL only to exceed the deadling and have their account legally billed. These crooks didn't cheat me. I e-mailed my cancellation directly to Myfamilytree.com, cc to my attorney who time stamped and notarized for an official document. I have an old school bank who disallowed the claim despite three hits and permanently blocked them. So, this post is not for revenge but, to spare others from these crooks!
