Ancestry.com offers a FREE 14 day trial.  They require a credit card to use when you decide to continue.  If not they state you can cancel within 14 days.  They are available as advertised 7 days a week.  The site was not available for cancellation, no one answered the phone for two days....and they dipped into my credit card one day before the agreement which I was trying to cancel but there was no way to do so.  TOTAL RIPOFF.

Your comments are not completely truthful.

They state the are available at their phone number 7 days a week, 10am-10pm.

They also provide the following under their "Terms of Service"...

Opting Out of Renewal. You may opt out of renewing your subscription by calling Ancestry at 1-800-262-3787 or by logging into your My Account page on the Website at least two days before the renewal date. If you do not let us know that you want to terminate your subscription at least two days prior to the end of the current subscription period the payment for the renewal period of the subscription will be made.

Somehow, you've ignored the obvious and just want to blame someone else.

THEY didn't rip you off...you did it to YOURSELF.

No, I DON'T work for them or any of the at least 40 other companies I've been accused of working for.

You, however are remarkably careless in your dealings and likely a liar as well.
