Andersen Windows Worthless Warranty Bayport, Minnesota

When water from a storm filled window wells, the only barrier we had were the Andersen windows that were newly installed.  One window held up without problem, but the latch on a second window was defective and would not keep the window locked.  Water pushed the window open resulting in flooding.

When I contacted Andersen about the defective product, I was told this was not covered by the warranty.  Nothing, in fact, that was meaningful was covered, I found out, despite the language of the warranty which implied otherwise.  The Andersen representative was dismissive and merely said she was sorry for the loss but Andersen's defective window was not responsible.
