I walked out and called another vet for the shot. I didn't have to pay the extra money for an "office visit" and they got me in within 5 minutes.
Not only do they charge you for any "extra" they can get away with but they raised their boarding services up by 60% too.
It looks like all they want is your money..... but they won't get mine. Check out Vet services.... there are "good ones" out there. Ask questions first and then make your decision.

It saddens us to hear of a complaint like this. Unfortunately, we cannot be sure of the exact circumstances behind this claim, since it was not brought to the attention of the management team at the time of the perceived problem. While perfection is the goal, miscommunications happen. We attempt to maintain an open dialog with clients who express concerns.
We are thankful for their input so we can take an active hand in resolving their complaints and remedy the problems. It is never our intention to get clients to come in and then change the deal.
Boarding fee increases: Our management team checked comparative costs at regular boarding facilities and other veterinary boarding facilities in the area and found that we were underpriced by 60 to 70%. We are sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused to our clients, but we needed to guard the quality and individual care our boarding pets receive.
