Andrew B. Martin Martin Hardwood Floors Owes $20,000 Child Support Arrears~ Kansas Taking No Action. Lawrence, Kansas

Andrew Martin uses his self-owned business, Martin Hardwood Floors, to avoid having any income attached for child support.  He uses his girlfriend's bank account to avoid having his income attached through the bank system.  He has been doing this for 10 years.  He has three daughters, and has consisitently not paid child support that has accumulated in the amount of $20,000 arrears.  He has been in court numerous times for avoiding child support obligations, but has not been made accountable for non-payment or arrears.  Andrew Martin is insistent that he is given liberal visitation, in spite of being 250 miles from his daughters, and their mother pays all expenses for the travel costs. This is because child support and visitation are separate in the eyes of the court.  Andrew Martin's total child support obligation is $400 for all three children, and he will not pay that small obligation monthly.  Kansas Child Support Enforcement has dragged their feet on making Andrew Martin accountable for his obligation to his children, even though he has lived at the same address in Lawrence, Kansas, for the past 6 years.
