A few years ago my wife and I took a couple of nude shots of each other and then had them on our homepage. The Internet was young and poorly understood and we were certainly in an experimental stage in our relationship. The photos were up there for no longer than two weeks and then we took them down, and never considered posting them again.
About two years ago, my wife was diagnosed with a terminal illness. While recovering from a treatment of severe chemotherapy, she read her email and came across one from an old friend who saw her photos on Adult Friend Finder. The photos my wife and I had taken years ago were being used by Adult Friend Finder to deceptively lure users to their illegal (((REDACTED, no record of this claim, verified by Rip-off Report))) website. I wrote to their customer service people through both email and US postal mail explaining to them what the situation was. I never heard back from them.
Frustrated, I contacted them via phone and, they explained that I I faxed a copy of my wife's license then they would remove our photos from their site. I had a copy of my wife's license made, and faxed it to them. The license photo was taken after she had begun her chemotherapy and she had lost all of her hair including her eyebrows. While on a speakerphone with her, they received the license, looked at our photos on our site, and said to my wife and I Yeah buddy, you wish these were pictures o your wife, keep dreaming and stop wasting my time.
Matters got worse when our oldest daughter's ex-boyfriend found our photos on Adult Friend Finder and emailed links to everyone in our neighborhood including our younger daughters. She was devastated. We retained an attorney to for Friend Finder to remove the photos that they had no right to display on their site in the first place. My wife took a turn for the worst and she passed away in August.
I am now conserving money to save or my daughter's college funds. With only having one income now, and not having had proper lie insurance for her (we never thought she would pass on first), I do not feel that I have enough money to pay for a long, drawn out, legal battle.
I hope that Andrew Conru reads this post and has some sympathy for my case. I beg him to please consider removing my wife's photos out o respect for her memory and my children. I am humbly desperate for his mercy in my efforts.
I have no idea why he finds these photos so valuable. I see thousands of photos of couples all over the Internet every day. Why can't he just replace them with someone else's? Why are they doing this to me? Does my family have no rights? Isn't there some law that can protect us?
I have sent Mr. Conru countless emails begging him to please remove my wife's photos and he has never responded. I hate to feel like I am being extorted, but I have even offered him money to take down her photos. I pray that making this post in a public forum such as the RipOffReport will attract some allies in my efforts.
I am looking for nothing more than to have my wife's photos removed. I respect your right to be a(((REDACTED, no record of this claim, verified by Rip-off Report))), a businessman, a capitalist, and whatever else the laws of this great country allow. Please respect my right to protect the memory of my late wife in the minds of her children.

I have used this site on and off for a year, had no problems, and actually have met two men that I now see on a regular basis.
You have to have rules, and as for pictures, well, only an idiot would put nude pictures of themselves on the internet. Have some class people. You don't send me a pic of you, you don't get one of me. Keep the clothes on until you meet.
It's not the goods, anyway, it's the way you use it. And my men don't always even have intercourse with me, they are too busy enjoying pleasing me, and enjoying making me squirt.
Love it. Who would EVER get married again. Now women can have it the way men have for years. A new one every night if we want. LOVE IT

I've been a gold member on and off for over 6 years.
Never had a problem that wasn't resolved in less than 4 days. One time I couldn't access my profile - some glitch in their system. They restored my profile and gave me one month of gold membership free for my trouble.
I've met women in my area from the site.
A few times I received a solicition type email from some members. I've reported them to customer service and the profile of the solicitor was removed from the site.

I was a member of Adult Friend Finder off and on for about 7-8 years.
I had the same experience as many others. I wrote to a lot of women (well over a hundred) and received only one legitimate reply.
The replies I did receive were from porn sites and escort services.
When I found out my company wanted to transfer me to another state I began to check profiles there.
What I found was interesting.
I found a lot of profiles which matched many of the profiles in my own state almost word for word.
In addition, I found many of the same pictures on profiles.
Make no mistake about it. Adult Friend Finder is a total ripoff.

I have been using adult friendfinder on and off for several years
Yes there are many fake ads, yes alot of ads that when you email its not real, want you to joina porno site. And tehy have old ads they never take down.
But that being said i have met at least 10 women off at that site they were ready for action and got it.
Who would put their face pic on there anyway? can you say dumb
You have to knwo how to navigate the site, spot the obviously fake ads, avoid the old ads etc. Youc an find some hot sex starved women in there
in past 4 months i have met two women off of there, hot women, married, not getting any action at home, ready to go
I really dont have any complaints about the site

I've been a customer of AFF before and while I did meet 3 women in my area that were real and did meet my criteria, I did have to send out 176 messages to find 3 real women. I do think most women on the site are fake and setup by bots or computer scripts however the site isn't 100% fake.
As far as Kevin's comment about the spam/adware/pop-ups you maybe having other problems. I haven't experiences one spam email, or adware problem. They do have one pop-up programmed into their site but that's no different than any other site on the internet and it can be blocked without losing site functionality... just my .02c.

I was very surprised to get spammed by porn bots
while I was a memeber of Adult friend finder. I
didn't meet or get an email from one legit woman.
I did get some replys from some gay men, but I'm
not gay.
Also, how is it that this guy can get away with this? Does the U.S. Gov not have laws against this kind of activity or is it that this guys just pads the feds or states pockets with
money so they look the other way? How come so much false advertisment abounds today and how
come the US GOV isn't doing its job? If you ask
me I think we should just go beat this guy within
