Hello, I had ordered a hood from Andy's Auto Sport on February 2nd and received an invoice. Payment was sent on February 10th and I believe received the same day. Delivery time was 7-10 days. After this time had elapsed I called to see where the order was and to see when it was shipped. I was told by a rep that they did not stock this hood and were in negotiations with the hood supplier, lie #1. They advertise this hood but have no intention of ever selling it. I had asked the rep to please cancel the order and refund the amount back to the Credit Card. They said this would take 2-3 days. Lie #2. This did not happen as the Credit Card company had no conformation of any reversed transaction.

Another phone call to Andy's confirmed that. They then said that they would mail out a cheque for the full amount to my US address, (I live in Canada)Lie #3. My parcel receiving had no recollection of any such cheque being mailed to them. Lie #4. They then told me after 3-4 more phone calls that the cheque would be cancelled and that a new cheque would be mailed to my Canadian address, never happened. Spoke with another rep and he said they had no idea what I was Talking about. Getting pretty frustrated at this point so decided to call again. This time another rep said they would re-credit my Credit card and the transaction would take no more than 3 days. Not going to happen. This is the 7th week into this bunch of BS. How does this company manage to stay in business? With all the reviews written about there poor past and present performance history, I am surprised that the Better Business Bureau has not shut them down. What's up BBB??? So here I sit, no hood, no money refunded and one very pissed off customer waiting for this product.


To all other potential customers of Andy's, please be aware that this too, may happen to you. I will be handing this off to an international lawyer firm to take criminal action with respect to withholding funds not belonging to them or their company. I suggest to others wanting to follow suit, to do the same or at the least, file a class action suit against this very poorly run business. Enough said!
 
P.S. A total of no less than 10 phone calls were made to many reps and some even claiming to be managers. Not one of them could come up with any answers that made any sense. No money has been refunded to this date March 22, 2011

Another victim in the Lower Mainland

Similar situation is happening to me right now. I've been waiting a month for a refund that I will either get 0 or 80% back (because they will either not follow through or I will only get my purchase price minus their restocking fee plus the $40 is took me to ship it back to them). That doesn't even include the time I've lost.

They sold me a product that wasn't in-stock, but didn't hesitate to charge my credit card. So just like you, I had to drive down to the border just to get a refund cheque. The horrible thing is that they still have this no stock product on their website.

Furthermore, they other item I ordered was the wrong part. So since 11 Nov 2011, I have been trying to get a refund. If you ask for a manager or ask why they cannot simply credit my credit card, they just ignore you.

They even told me they received my item and already sent a cheque in the mail. Then they do a complete reversal and state: "We are still waiting on the manufacture to inspect the package. Once the package is inspected we will credit you for that item as well."

So they sent me a cheque, but didn't.

They sold me a product, but didn't have it.

Atrocious? It's a nightmare.

Do NOT buy from Andy's Auto Sport. They are a complete fraud.
