I had a bad accident. cracks in leaf springs led quickly to broken springs. this rendered my truck undrivable. I found the best price for springs on andysautosport.com.

I ordered the springs on the 17th of feb 06 for $57 dollars per set plus shipping. advertised as hellwig ez-550 leaf springs with pictures of the springs.

I called for status 7 days from purchase date, as springs were in stock (per company policy). i was told parts would ship by the end of the week. I called at the end of the week and was told parts would ship beginning of next week. I called beginning of that week and told parts would ship end of week. asked to speak with supervisor and told no. they laughed and said that there is no one in charge that would talk to me. in the course of next 2 days i was hung up on repeatedly. when i asked for a refund they said no because part was ready to ship. again against posted company policy. (sean on ext 3 is the one who laughs and hangs up).

no refund, no parts, no ship date, hung up on and riding the bus....I came home on mar 10 to find brand new bolt on helper springs!!!!! I called and argued that i did not order helper springs. they said yes you did, the description and pictures of leaf springs were generic and I should have known not to expect them so cheap!!!!he also said that this was the risk I take by ordering springs online.. options are ship back at my expense and pay restocking fee, sell them myself.

no refunds as this was of course my fault for ordering online (exact words). I said I will get refund through mastercard. Once again laughed at and hung up on!!!! mastercard did refund my money. Hellwig says that the description and pictures are supposed to be for full set of leaf springs, on page you will buy hellwig leaf springs (w/description and picture of LEAF SPRINGS)but you will recieve helper springs in mail.. do not do business with this company... they will hold your money, ship when they feel like it, and offer no option if there is a problem. basically they say o well you should have known!!!!!!!!!!
