HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH ANIMAL EMERGENCY & URGENT CARE PALM HARBOR, FL! These people are ridiculous. We brought our puppy in because he was feeling ill - We paid $75 for a Physical Exam, which the doctor spent all of about 1-2 minutes performing then immediately told us we needed $150 lab work. After the lab work, everything was normal, she then tried to immediately add on another $50 in charges for "hydration fluids" and medicine.

We then asked why this was necessary and if it could wait until we bring our puppy to his regular vet the very next day. She responded with "If you are asking if I think he will die tonight, no." - They gave us a printed quote for everything, and then AFTER charging my debit card, we realized the bill had HIDDEN FEES that were absolutely ridiculous. $89 LAB fee + $14 "Blood Collection Fee" + $49 Blood Count Fee + $9 Waste Disposal Fee + $75 Visit Fee, and Fee after Fee.

STAY AWAY - STAY AWAY - STAY AWAY!! This place will NOT give your precious pet the proper care and will try to rip you off in the process!
