Lean life charged me 99.00 under false pretenses. I fallowed the canelation instructions by internet and when called to fallow up I got the run around. Then was told that the first shipment can not be reimbursed... I just canceld future shipments. I hassled them daily explaining that I hadn't received it yet and want a refund. I recieved it about a month and a half late and sent it back like they suggested. "couldn't reimburse me until they get their product back, so wait until it is recieved and send it back through a trackable method" I did that....waited....waited. then called to see about my refund and they said their system is down and can't see any info regarding that area. the system has been down for 4 weeks now.

Low and behold, I recieved my money back from my bank for the second withdrawl. (not for the original 99.00- bank said i only had 60 days to dispute that charge and i had waited too long)
I checked my bank account for the month and had received 3 MORE CHARGES totalling $224.85. i can't beleive that company is getting away with this!

There are a couple of things that you need to understand about fraud.

First, if it's on the internet and money is involved, there is probably a 50% chance of it being some kind of a scam. It's so easy to make a phony website with big promises and big dreams.

Second, anytime you give out your account number, you WILL be charged. Not later. Not in 10 days. Not when the crap arrives in the mail. But, right now. They can enter your number while you are still on the phone with them. If you enter the number into a box on the internet, the minute you hit send you will be billed.

Third, FREE always means scam. Anywhere you go, the minute you hear the word free, you should bend over and expect to get cheated out of something. Obviously, whenever anyone says free, you should say NO THANKS.

Fourth, it's ALWAYS going to be more money that they tell you. Scams spend your money on drugs and whores. It costs a lot more than just $49.99 for drugs and whores. So, expect to have lots of money taken out of your account. Each month. Maybe, several times each month. Even if you tell them that you only want the one free item, you will AUTOMATICALLY be entered into the auto-bill contract.

Fifth, there is NO canceling. And, these places will never send you a refund. How could they? They already spent your money on drugs and whores. What do you think, they can ask the strippers to take back the lap-dance that they spent your money on? Maybe the drug dealer will offer them a refund? Not a chance!

Don't spend your time calling the company if you want out. It's a complete waste of time. There are NO refunds. You are being lied to. And, played for a fool.

There is only one way to get your money back. Maybe. If you go into your bank and ask THEM to get it back for you. Maybe, they can do that. Maybe it's already too late. Hard to say. If you spent time calling the company and waiting for the crooks to send a refund, it's probably too late.

Last, you always want to close the account. Credit or checking. Yes, it's a hassle. Yes, you will lose your time and your money. That's what you should expect every time you get involved with a scam.

By the way, diet pill scams usually send you pills made for animals. They're cheaper. Dog worm pills. Goat pills. Cow pills. Who can say? You have to ask yourself. Are you really planning to eat something that a scam sent you?

Stil, aftre all this time I have yet to recieve anything. I will not give up yet.....
Since then I have repeatadly called and continued to get the runaround. Last I was told that the systems were down and they would forward my complaints ....to whomever...because they were not allowed to tell me anything about the actual company...nothing! There "stem was down" for months until finally the number no longer works!
I tried to get the refund from my bank, but I had went way past the 60 day deadline of refunds.....and that is going no where.
Help!
