My family had been dealing with Silver Birches Resort for 20+ years and then it was sold to Anne and Joe Phillips who now run it like a boot camp.
My Aunt now owns a trailer home there and they tell her who is allowed to come or not, everyone has to sign in and out and even pay, including family.
There is no smoking in any of the cabins which is their choice, but they have tried to say no smoking outside of my Aunt's.
Anne is down right rude and ignorant on the phone to people and Joe doesn't say a thing, truthfully, I think he is scared of her.
Anne and Joe have also said that they are not allowed to have yearly residents but yet they have a few mobile homes that are occupied all year round. When my Aunt asked to go on seasonal they would not allow it.
I have been there in the winter to drop a friend off that used to live there and the road ways to the permanent trailers were not paved and I got stuck and had to call the owners down and got yelled at for not signing in. I didn't plan to be there for more than 2 minutes so I yelled back that I would have been gone if they had plowed afterall, the yearly rent includes maintainence of road ways ie..plowing.
They charge outrageoud prices for their cottages and I must not forget to tell you that there is a curfew there too, no noise, fires etc..after 11pm. or 12 am.
Anne and Joe Phillips bully and threaten to pull my aunt's trailer out and put it on the road all the time. They are greedy, ignorant people. Stay Away from the Boot Camp Silver Birches....

Well, I had to take my cousins up to the trailer park and sure enough Anne Phillips blew a gasket...I was speaking to Joe Phillips and he was very pleasant to me..It ended up my cousin and her 2 children 9 & 15 were not aloud to stay with their mother/grandmother..The once Anne had seen me, she said to my cousin in a very nasty tone, What in the Hell is she doing here?..You see about 3 yrs. ago My fiance and I used to go up every weekend to get away and to repair the trailer..one morning my dogs got out and thye ran up to Joe and he got scared because my one dog smiled at him..I can understand him being affraid for a moment, but instead of telling us they are not allowed to run free they kicked them out..it was a good thing a lady I knew lived up there and loved my dogs like they were her own and took them for the remainder of the weekend..I now understand the signing in and out due to insurance purposes but, their insurance company must not know they have permenant residents.. However, they expected us to sign in everyday, even if we went into town for something we would have to sign in and out and pay $4.00 per day per person..my fiance woudn't as he thought that was BS..so now neither myself or my fiance are allowed to enter the park at anytime under any circumstance..We even offered to help Joe around the park to repair things instead of having to pay the $4.00 each a day and he said NO! how stupid is that..
