Answering Specialists Inc, continued charging for months after my service was terminated.  I contacted my account rep who asked me to contact Sheila Krier, Customer Care Manager. I left her many email and voice messages but did not get any response. I eventually had to ask my credit card vendor to cancel their payments. I don't recommend using this vendor.

Lash out and try to damage when you don't pay your bill.

It's frustrating to have a person make allegations regarding our company when they are not reputable.  We keep copies of all emails and answer each of them.  It seems the only time a person uses a service such as this is when they can't win in any other forum so they want to lash out and try to damage our company becuase they didn't pay their bill.  Our service agreement very clearly spells out how to cancel your service.  You simply have to send in a email or fax stating you want to cancel.  Often a client will try to claim they cancelled by calling because they don't want to pay their bill.  This was the case with this client.  He did try to reverse the charge for his past due payment on his credit card - but the credit card agreed with us and did not allow the reversal.  If people would simply pay their bill when due and not play games - all would be happier.  Most of our customers are very reputable and honest.  It's a shame this client isnt.  You can be assured we respond to all emails, voicemails or any other form of communication we receive.  After all - we are an answering service.  Try calling, we always answer!
