 I went to Acer with my computer over the phone and they connected me to a company.  They told me they were authorized by Acer to work on my system because it was out of warranty.  I called my spouse and got his permission to use our card to pay for the service because they guarnteed me they could fix my computer. He even told my husband, he would guarntee it.  Later we found out there are no guarntees after everything that is said and done. So we paid them $79.99.  Now understand I had taken the computer to Best Buy two days prior, where they ran a diaganotic.  My computer completely checked out nothing wrong with it. 

They told me to put in the recovery discs in and the system should work just fine.   It didn't work so I called Acer and they told me it could be my discs but I was out of warranty, sending me to to connect me to this company.  I let them log into my system and it went down hill from there.  The techican refused to listen to me and kept calling me by a name that isn't even mine.  I corrected him several times, he told me how stupid Americans are.  I was so taken back by his attitude.  I found him hard to work with.

He guarnteed me; he could fix my system once he got the $79.99, and so we gave it to him.  Next he logged in and started telling me I had a bad virus on my system.  I have Webroot in my system and Best Buy did not see any viruses.  That would be an extra $29.99 to remove it.  Really? He kept asking if he could add the cost to my card.  I said no!   Next he told me my hard drive was bad.   He told me to run some software to get rid of the bad sectors.  It locked up my hard drive.

I ask him a couple of times what he was doing and he was on my screen going into files on my c: drive.  I said stop and help me recover my system.  He said I couldn't do that just yet, I ask him about my reciept.  He said it would go to my email, he never took my email address until I gave it to him.  I got an email after we got off the phone and it states in big letters, service is AS IS, NO REFUNDS!   I called back and I ask where the guarntee?  They said there are no guaratees.  At this point I got really angry with them and said you lied to me.  They hung up.

My system was not fix by this company and the only thing they did, was take my money.  I feel in my heart they lied to me.  I can't prove it, in my heart that is how I feel.  I am 63  and disabled, and my funds are limited.  So $79.99 is a lot of money.  I will be ok, I just care about the next person they may hurt. 

I ask for a refund and was told service was rendered an no refund will be given. I just want to warn anyone going to these people to be careful.  I was accused of swearing at them, I never did.  I think they are in India or somewhere, but not America.  Please Please be careful of them.

By the way the laptop that was suppose to have a bad hard drive, I am writing this out to you on. I had made a second set of discs and forgot about them.  Until I open my case and they were in the folder.  I was never so happy in my life.  I got the discs to work and now it is fine.  There is no virus and the hard drive is working just fine.  Interesting huh? Thanks for listening.  God Bless America!
