No coverage for my doctor visit to get a pap.  Yessir they will pay for part of the pap smear lab work but not the doctors office visit.  So maybe I should have done it myself???  When I called she said oh you have exceeded your maximum visits for the year (I went for a physical and eye doctor and dermatologist for a skin problem)  Then suggested I have one of my other doctors, or even ONE doctor do all procedures-great idea, I'll have my eye doctor do a pap and the dermatologist do an eye exam.  STUPID suggestion, because these are specialists!

I have prescription coverage but the "fine print" means that they paid absolutely ZERO on last years drug costs-and even though most should have gone to the deductible, ZERO went to the deductible, again because there is some fine print somewhere which I was not privvy to that explains why...I followed all the printed rules, got generics even when it was not what the doctor ordered and paid cash, saved receipts and submitted it all with the forms and they said, sorry, we can't pay because.....(fine print not provided to me as the policyholder)

I had to select the $3,000 deductible to afford the monthly premium of $300. That is $3600 per year and the only coverage is three doctors office visits for which I pay $30/$40 and that's it.  I am afraid to drop it because if something catastrophic happened I feel like at least I'd have something, but every service is so covered in fine print that actually they pay nothing...absolutely nothing...and somehow this is legal under the state laws in Virginia.

We have a new governor, he needs to shut these thieves down.
