*REBUTTAL Owner of company: Fabrications by and additional slander and Criminal Behavior by Eliud ****, Ponce, Puerto Rico
As time went on, I noticed that nothing was being posted for days at a time. My curiosity led me to ask Anthony L. Gonzalez of North Plainfield, New Jersey what was going on, why nothing was being posted and what is being done to correct this obvious problem Anthony L. Gonzalez admitted to me that they were careless and that the editor at
the time, Scott Canipe was very neglectful, so I offered to help out with the editing and I joined Mr. Canipe as the co-editor.
One of the very first questions I asked was who their writers were, and what kind of subjects they like to write about. These are the answers I received from Anthony L. Gonzalez of the writers:
(Out of the respect for these writers, I will not address them by name and instead call them Writer #1, Writer #2, and so on)
Writer #1 : He roams the internet to get women and has no time to write
Writer #2 : He wrote articles to impress a certain female, and after they had a fight on Facebook, he is no longer interested in writing
Writer #3 : This kid sucks as a writer. I dont promote his articles and they are not kept in our archive.
Writer #4 : That guy is an ex-con, and he had fights on Facebook with another writer
Writer # 5 : He is too extreme, and I dont want too much work from him
Some time later, information was given to me about their former editor, Frank Rivera. When I mentioned this to Anthony L. Gonzalez, he quickly began to verbally thrash Mr. Rivera by saying he was a crazy lunatic etc. Anthony L. Gonzalez claimed that Mr. Rivera tried to ruin his website among other accusations. I was a member of a certain boxing group on Facebook, and when I posted an article I was banned from the group. Frank Rivera was an administrator of the group so I assumed that
he was the one that had blocked me.
I messaged Mr. Rivera to ask him why I was banned from the group, and before you know it, he blocked me. The impression I got at the time was that maybe Mr. Rivera was as bad as Anthony L. Gonzalez said he was. A little while later, problems at this website and its founder became obviously apparent. As co-editor I met my expectations by recruiting
new writers, reporting breaking news, writing my own articles, and attempting to organize this un-organized boxing site.
The tip of the iceberg was when too many mistakes were arising almost daily. Let me start with an article about a fight that was posted by Anthony L. Gonzalez that was botched. This particular fight ended by TKO stoppage in round five. When the article was posted, just four rounds of the fight were included, puzzled, I called Anthony L. Gonzalez to
tell him of his error, he bluntly told me that he was high from marijuana, and he forgot to add the last round on the article He then asked me to fix it, and I did.
More of the proverbial ice berg began to show with an article that he had copied and pasted from another site by the name of Boxingscene. He posted it on his site without giving Boxingscene their proper credit. The article said By Real Combat Media, minus the the original writers name on it, and no credit for the site from which the article was
stolen from. Guess who came to the rescue to avoid a possible problem that could come from stealing content from another site? If you answered Eliud Vazquez Torres, you would be correct!
Here are 39 other copyright violations by Anthony L. Gonzalez as he used, The Contender programs theme song, which was composed by Hans Zimmer for the sole purpose of The Contender, without written or oral consent:
I felt that there were far too many mistakes and personal character flaws in Mr. Gonzalez to have continued working for this site. It was at about this time that Mr. Gonzalez began to disparage me and I started to believe that just maybe the former contributor Frank Rivera was not the problem. The Facebook boxing group that I was banned from invited me
back in when they found out that I was no longer associated with Anthony L. Gonzalez.
In closing, Id like to say that I could not continue working for someone who cared less about their site and its content than I did. Anthony L. Gonzalezs marijuana use and inability to not only run his site, but to properly take care of his own written content began to take its toll on me and my personal life with my family, who I stopped having time for because Id be too busy fixing his mistakes while also feeling stabbed in the back, and being informed of the negative comments
being said behind my back by the very guy who should be my biggest supporter, Anthony L. Gonzalez.
Since I left the site, I have received several phone calls from Mr. Gonzalez that shows how sick this man is as he has threatened to come to Puerto Rico, where I live to hang out with me even after being told that we would have no further relationship from here on out His calls are sarcastic in nature as he attempts to intimidate me while telling me
what he can do, both in the streets and in the court room.
Finally, I want to make it clear I want no further conversations or relationship with Mr. Anthony L. Gonzalez.
