Antivirus 2008 I too have been scammed into purchasing the Antivirus 2008 to protect my computer. I ran the free scan and was advised I had multiple virus but once I purchased the product miraculously all the virus' were gone. I have since been billed but have received an email accussing me of fraudulant download. This is a scam. All the contact numbers are disconnected. Internet

The website that the payment was made thru is www.software-payment.com and the email regarding fraudulant claim came from email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org
My computer has over 30 background virus' on it now which is actually what I downloaded thinking I was downloading the Antivirus2008.
All this cost me AUD$129.85. This was made up of:
Antivirus 2008 - AUD 59.95
AlphaWipe Tracks Cleaner 2008 - AUD 39.95
Premium Support - AUD 29.95
I am ropable - and looking for a way to now remove these programs from my computer! BEAWARE of this scam...
