We had a presentation to buy software for any minute travel. There are several locations this one was for the WA franchaise. They do a bait and switch, the enticement is 2 roundtrip tickets on SW airline anywhere in the US and if you call in a certain amount of time 3 days and 2 nights hotel stay. Do not expect this to be what it says, it is a sheet of paper that the lady at the desk will tell you they have had problems with one of them getting the company to send the clients the vouchers. Basically you pay a fee, non refundable and then another fee and the taxes and you will get a voucher for another program through Freedom Marketing. This is for 2 tickets, $300 restaurant voucher and/ or 3 days and 2 nights hotel in 4 areas if available you have to buy into the program in a month
and then it is supposedly good for a year. We have done lots of Timeshare presentations that are legit and you can get freebees like 2 actual RT tickets or hotel stays. So this is what they are using to get people in and basically
falsely advertising from the start. On top of having to buy into a program to get your "free"gift that is hardly free or even cheaper than an actual ticket of stay. The presentation was done horribly this is a part of Rovia, that sells
timeshares, flights and rental cars and hotels at cost from the owners/distributors and then they say the website allows you this great savings to the travel. However when you compare it after buying the membership (which
they will dock the price down by over half if you are dumb enough to be interested in it) I still think you will find better deals on costco or online if you are good at looking. the availability for using the hotels is basically
through RCi and Interval international which we were very familiar with. They will show you the availability in Orlando which is always available. try having them look up last minute in Hawaii...they usually is none or minimal dates
available. Basically this gives you the ability to use peoples unused timeshares at a lesser cost than actually owning your own timeshare, there are fees and upfront costs. If you own a timeshare I would not find this useful at
all. I think the presentation we were given was done poorly but showed us the true side of this company's interworkings...fraud! Beware and don't expect free stuff here at all! It was supposed to be 90 mintes we were there for 2 hours and 45 minutes and that was just us one on one, with minimal questions...total waste of my time.

Wow, this is a pretty interesting report,
I attended a presentation with Freedom Marketing Group and had no such
difficulties, the staff were pleasant and really went out of their way to
insure my husband and I are happy with the services we received. First I would
like to say after seeing this report I became very concerned with this company
having our information, after investigating on my own, I found this woman has
posted the same letter at various websites all over the web. It appears to me
that she attends a lot of these presentations for the "free vacation"
and should have known when she scheduled the appointment that nothing is free.
I called in and scheduled an appointment for my husband and myself. I was
told over the phone that this is not a free vacation and we would be
responsible for processing fees and taxes. After having been to a timeshare
presentation we found this presentation to be nothing like a time-share
presentation, we were not harassed by anyone to make a sale. After talking with
a sales representative my husband and I were not sure if this search
engine was for us so we decided not to make a purchase impulsively we told the
sales rep that we wanted to think about it and discuss it privately. He
asked us if we had any questions and when we told him we didn't, he politely
said thanked and made sure we had all the information we needed to make an
informed decision. My husband and I felt
really awkward; because of our past experiences with time-share
presentations we had prepared for a fight and had just the opposite experience.
My husband even commented about how he wasn't used to not being pressured and the young man stated that no one wants to feel forced into any thing, and the owner of Freedom Marketing Group wants every one who attends the presentation and decides to purchase to be comfortable with his or her decision. I find it really hard to believe that the writer of the
complaint had such a bad experience. It seems that after experiencing time share presentations as the writer stated that they should have known that there were going to have to pay processing fees and taxes. After doing the research I found that processing fees and taxes are pretty standard on most travel certificates and the stipulations on the ones we received were
the most flexible, we didn't even have to take the SW certificates if we didn't want to. They allowed us to read all their certificates over and choose the ones we wanted. I'm not sure how we could have had two polar opposite experiences but after doing the research I can confidently say this writer is the only one who I have found to make a complaint. This is really odd because I'm quite sure they see thousands of people in a year. To me it sounds like the writer was trying to scam this company to get a "free" vacation and as soon as they didn't get their way, they decided to populate the web with foolishness.
